I've heard of folks doing the shoot qualifier part of the HCP class (with all the guns they may carry) as a CYA against some dbag prosecutor.

I love me a couple of bore snakes. First one for cleaning. Second one for lube. I do this until it really starts misbehaving. Then it's field strip time.

Have never had an issue with Hoppes 9 on plastic.
