  1. Can't beat that for $10 !
  2. Me too. My eyes don't like dark forums.
  3. I would have to agree. I have noticed lots of "Holier than thou" attitude...IMO.
  4. A lot of competition chili's have chocolate or cocoa powder in them.
  5. The 26 is a good piece. You won't be disappointed.
  6. The only thing my gas grill does anymore is store "Eggcessories"...lol. As far as speed goes, I can light the lump charcoal in the egg with a weed burner, and be ready to cook in a matter of minutes. The weber is a good piece too. Just say no to propane....lol.
  7. That's another reason I give the nod to an Egg. It will do anything you want to do with it.
  8. I would put the Big Green Egg up against any of them. It will do it all from low and slow smokes to high heat sears. Very efficient, and excellent moisture retention. We cook on ours 3-4 times a week, year round.
  9. I figured it was you. Keep me posted on the next Wicked Good Lump run.
  10. I can't see where it would be a problem at all. BTW, are you the same wileEcoyote from the egghead forum ?
  11. 04 2500 HD Duramax with a few mods. It's amazing how quick a 7000lb truck can be...
  12. The large has been plenty for us. I have a family of 4 and entertain often. The large has a 18.5 inch grid, I believe. I haven't loaded it up with burgers, so I'm not sure how many I could squeeze on there.
  13. Yeah, I've got the Large. It weighs 140lb.
  14. It will be the last grille you need (lifetime warranty). There are several on www.eggheadforum that have had theirs for 10+years.
  15. I wish I would have bought it sooner. I haven't found anything I can't do with it. From overnight "low and slows", to 800+ degree sears, to baking....it does it all.
  16. Nathan's dogs are top notch.
  17. It started here: The Pioneer Woman Cooks - Ree Drummond I don't do them in the oven though, I do them on the Big Green Egg.
  18. 1.5" Ribeye's: Along with "crashed" taters (google them...pretty tasty), and peppers and onions: Pretty damn good Memorial day supper..... (cooked on the Big Green Egg...ROCKS !! )
