1. I have a Rossi snubby .38.    For what it is (a cheap gun) it does fine.  As stated above, it's no colt, but it has never failed to go bang, and I don't worry about treating it like a colt. (not that I abuse any of my firearms)
2.     I have never had those, but I will now be making them soon !

4.     I hear ya !    A little shopping around will help.  All of the ceramics are warrantied for life, and their Customer Service is really good.  I have had mine for several years, and would not hesitate to buy it again.
5.     That's why I like my Big Green Egg.  It will do anything from low and slow cooks to insane steak searing temps.  We do Pizza's and bread frequently, and they are always great !
6. Wake me up when there's 5 to go.
7. Well done.  That should be around for a long time !
8. Holding my DL while I look at a gun as insurance =  No Problem.    Scanning the information off my DL without my permission and storing it while I look at a gun = invasion of expected privacy     I agree with this. The store needs to let you know up front what the intentions are, IMO.
9. Thanks......now I have to have one....lol.
10. Mine arrived today also  !
11. I use "racing" jugs with hoses like these:      http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.racecaddy.com/pix/products/fueljug-combo.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.racecaddy.com/bells-whistles.html&h=1110&w=750&sz=20&tbnid=AP9zpQEXjHz_MM:&tbnh=93&tbnw=63&zoom=1&usg=__Kaldf2SaxC5xO7yER1kOvmBmmRU=&docid=CNLMZaYcIglBoM&hl=en&sa=X&ei=zzsDUf7LGI3U9ATU3ICYCA&ved=0CKYBEPUBMAo&dur=536   No sissy-ass PC vents and caps.   :)
12. Order completed. I applaud them for not participating in "panic" prices.
13.
..... in a nutshell as my father told me a long time ago,
"You can put a kitten in the oven, but it will never be a biscuit"

:-)

That's pretty good...lol.
14.
My entry is my Ding Dong Cake.
I'll have to try this. Sounds good !
15. I like to do "ABT's" (Atomic Buffalo Turds) for snacks @ Parties. Stuffed jalapeno's off the grill. Great appentizer or side item. Ingredients: • 2 lb Jalapeno's - fresh 2 -3 inches each (approx 30 count) • 2 8 ounce pack of Cream Cheese • 2 lb Bacon (may not use all) • 1.5 lb Pulled Pork Instructions: Wash, remove stems and half jalapeno's lengthwise. Only cut the stem off, don't cut the end of jalapeno off to remove the stem. Remove seeds and veins (leave veins in if you would like a hotter ABT). Use left over pulled pork, or prepare a small shoulder (2lb) for this. Besides pulled pork you can use any meat. Hamburger, or wedges of italian sausage work well also. Cut lengths of bacon strips just long enough to wrap around jalapeno half about twice. Fill jalapeno halfs with cream cheese, top with a small amount of pulled pork and wrap the whole thing with a peice of bacon. I usually hold bacon on top of end of jalapeno and wrap around the middle and come back up over top at other end. Hold bacon ends in place with ½ toothpick each end. Get cooker at 325deg steady. You are wanting to get bacon cooked without burning up the jalapeno's. I use a raised grid, and place the jalepeno's on a veggie rack allowing for easy removal when done. Smoking these are even better. Maple wood and Hickory work well. Allow 30 - 40 minutes for bacon to be done. Check them half way through and rearrange as necessary to prevent any hot spots burning any. You can replace the pulled pork with *anything*. I have done them with little smokies,shrimp,ham,turkey... etc. Here is a pic of some of mine on the Big Green Egg:
16. I've been thinking about doing one of these projects too. I guess now's the time to get busy. I need to find a rifle and get busy.
17. Never heard of it. Details ?
18. Woody

Ruger SR9c

I have one also. I still like my G19 better, but it is a fine little gun. Zero malfunctions so far with around 500 rounds. My wife took her carry permit class with it. She really likes it.
19. I'm down 50lbs from this time last year. I'd like to drop 20 more. It hasn't came off super fast, but it's staying off. Trying to eat better, and hitting the gym 3-5 times a week has worked for me so far. I could still eat "better", and I will. As said, it isn't easy. you have to want it !
