  1. I have a CZ457 in 22lr, another 22WMR and a 17 Hmr. I really like them. I have a Savage in 17HMR which is a good shooter too. The Ruger mk4 and Taurus TX22 are fun too!! Rimfire ammo is less expensive than centerfire so I get to shoot a lot more. I have a 200 yard range at home so it's great for rimfire but a little short for centerfire, so I generally have to pack everything up to shoot centerfires. Another thing is that rimfire suppressors are a lot cheaper too. Generally great shooting firearms that can be a lot of fun for not too much ca$$$$h. Even match quality ammo is cheaper than centerfire, including reloading.
  2. I have 3 CZ 457, one in 22 WMR and it shoots the Remington 33gr really well. I really like the CZ's, I use a 22 LR in an MDT chassis which I use for NRL22. I also have an AR upper from BCA which is a fun gun and it runs reliably!!! Walmart has some of the CCI 40gr in the milk carton on sale at the moment and they are a hoot from this rifle. The CZ feeds the tipped bullets better but the Ar feeds them all, just not so precisely.
  3. As title says, 45/70 guide gun. Check out the certificate photo, 2006 limited edition and I enclose the end of the box with Serial # etc. Rifle is in good condition but has been used. There are a couple of minor marks on the stock but nothing major. I did remove the safety and replaced the trigger with a WWG trigger happy kit. I believe these 2 mods improve the rifle but YMMV. The rear sight is original but needs some attention to stay solid, new screw probably? The photo shows a Sig Romeo5 red dot which is not included unless someone wants to pay another $80 for it.
  4. I have Bergara 6.5 PRC and would like a better stock, especially with cheek riser. Julian Text me 615 631 6261
  5. Have you tried OK Corral at Woodbury? They have a pit for shotgun shooting where you can shoot what you like. They also have multiple pistol lanes, 200 yard rifle and clays too!! All for $10 a day. I like the place.
  6. Sorry, I thought I'd uploaded photos when I posted it
  7. Come get aa new shotgun at a discount price, literally fired 3 rounds perfect condition purchased this and a 20 gauge 2 months ago as I had a hankering for a pump action. I have zero need for it and after firing 3 shells to test it put it away. It really is as new, comes with modified choke, but takes standard 500 chokes. I have not removed the dowel to expand magazine capacity but it takes 2 minutes if you want me to do it. Julian text 615 631 6261
  8. Awesome 1911 that I really don't need as I have 2 and rarely shoot either one. The G10 LOK grips are a major upgrade over the original plastic. The Duty series are a full-size 1911 pistol that come from the factory with a long list of features that include a skeletonized hammer and trigger, ambidextrous safety, extended beavertail grip safety and both front/rear slide serrations. Built on our forged frame and slide for durability with our cold hammer forged barrels for accuracy, the Duty series is ready for whatever comes at you. Text Julian 615 631 6261
  9. I shoot NRL22 and have a suppressor. Quiet I have but all I wanted is a cheap, but gutsy rifle to plink at longer ranges on the cheap. PCP air rifles seem to be the answer to that. I have a break action 177 that I bought 20 years ago, it does kill squirrels but the spring action is loud and it's one shot per break, not really what I want today
  10. HI I ended up buying the Air Venturi Avenger in 25. I will probably never hunt anything larger than squirrels or rabbits. What drew me was I can still ring my steel targets out back but pellets are considerably cheaper than even 22 ammo, leave alone centerfire. I do reload but the time and expense for simple plinking led me the PCP route. I am sure with my addictive personality it won't be my last!!! The compressor cost more than the gun and I wouldn't have to buy a second one so........
  11. Does anyone have experience with a PCP air rifle? I am in the process of purchasing one and it seems like a great and cheap way to target shoot or for hunting small game up tp and including coyotes. I have ordered a 25 cal but they come in larger calibers too. Just seems like it could be a lot of cheap fun.
  12. Excellent condition, scope mount but Simmons 4 power scope, not the best but works fine.
  13. somebody make me an offer, this stuff is new and ready to go!!!
  14. Brand new Lee pacestter dies , 3 in box with shell holder never used $25. 2* 100 Hornady 160gr FTX bullets $30 a box or both for $50. 50 new brass Winchester $25. 3 boxes of once fired Federal 150 gr brass plus 13 unfired rounds, $20.
  15. If Anyone buys one of these Rugers in a short action Magpul makes a great bedded stock for them. I fitted one with a decent scope and it is now a fine shooting rifle for not too much ca$h!!
  16. Well I went with the Ruger Predator in 223 Rem, I appreciate that they make the Ranch in 5.56 but I've generally found 223 to be a little more accurate. Just waiting for it to arrive...... Loading a few hundred rounds.
  17. I used to own a Tikka Varmint in 223 with the heavy barrel, tack driver. Why did I sell it? No idea..... Back to 2023. The Tikka's I want are too pricey, looking to spend around $500. The candidates are: Ruger American predator, 22: barrel, threaded and takes AR mags Howa mini action, similar specs. Anybody got any experience with either? I do own the Ruger American ranch in 300 BLK and it's a decent rifle for the money, great for shooting subs with a suppressor!!!
  18. I have one which I have shot twice, absolutely as new in box
  19. This shotgun works great, it cycles perfectly and shoots straight. It does have a removable choke and the barrel is 28". The metal work is in excellent condition, no rust or blemishes. The stock and forearm are walnut and in very good condition for the age, obviously a few little dings as you can see in the photo. The only fault with the gun is that the forend wiggles a little bit , which any DIY er could probably fix in a heart beat. Overall a good little shotgun at a bargain price.
  20. CFE Pistol. They had it in Academy this week too. Great powder for a variety of handguns.
  21. Yes sorry Glock mags and 1/2 * 28 threaded. I also have the fixture for the Ruger mags.
  22. Scope has been mounted but is in fantastic condition, no ring marks etc. It is second focal plane MOA, The Reticle is regular crosshair with MOA markings for holdovers. Great scope but I'm transitioning to FFP and Mil's so......
  23. This sight is as new condition. I have mounted it on 2 rifles and it functioned perfectly. I guess I am just not a prism guy and my 61 year old eyes prefer a scope.
  24. Ruger 9mm PC Carbine. Added Midwest Industries chassis, Magpul pistol grip and buttstock. In addition it has a beautiful Volquartsen trigger plus Mcarbo recoil reduction bundle, extractor and A2 Tool Steel Bolt Head Pins & Extractor Pin Kit . Carbine is in fantastic condition with low round count. I simply don't use it. I still have the original plastic stock should you want it.
