Depends on the aforementioned bank. I don’t know any fencing company that won’t break the bank, but that’s all a matter of perspective. I’m having to put up some fence now, but I’m doing it all myself. Even the lumber alone is expensive. Come to think of it, I’ve been no help at all to you this morning.

Drivers and their stupid behavior during this flood
res308 replied to tercel89's topic in General Chat
Tercel, no surprises at all in what you’ve said. Saw it a whole lot during the big flood we had around Cumberland City in 2010. Barricades, high water, and patrol cars blocking the road didn’t mean a thing. Saw it again last Wednesday night/Thursday morning here. After having to cut my way all the way through Houston county to get here, we had a big tree down near TVA blocking the whole road. I don’t know how many people pulled up to me, with me sitting in the middle of the road with blue lights on, “hey is the road open to go through, can I get through here?” ”Yeah man, that’s why I’m sitting here blocking the road, just so you can get through” On a brighter note though, while I was trying to cut my way through Houston county, this kid pulls up in a big jacked up Chevy 4x4 with vanity lights all over it. I was already about half irritated over the situation anyway, so I started thinking negative right off the bat, wondering what in the world does this guy want. NOPE. I was WRONG. This kid jumps out with a big Husqvarna chainsaw in hand ready to go to work. He followed me all the way to Cumberland City helping me cut. I realized once again that there are in fact some good people left in the world.- 21 replies

Agreed. Hate them things. Just a giant version of a noxious weed.

I really don’t know why I waited so long to get a tractor. When I got ready for one, a friend of mine sold me his 50 horse Massey Ferguson with front bucket, big box blade, and a backhoe attachment. I am very thankful for that backhoe. I know I won’t be able to do as much work as a full size backhoe, but it’s just right for what I need. I love that thing.

Chuck Norris was born May 6th 1945 and the Nazis surrendered May 7th 1945. I rest my case.

Do you think 2024-25 season doe rules will change?
res308 replied to MEGASTAR's topic in Hunting and Fishing
Yep. That ticked me off too. I always looked forward to the end of season doe hunt. So naturally they took it away. -
Yeah I realize he’s bearly had any practice, but we should still give him a round of a-paws…

I’M PUTTING THIS BACK UP FOR TRADE ONLY. EDITED TO INCLUDE THE CONVERSATION I HAD WITH SMITH AND WESSON, PLUS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I JUST FOUND. READ THE WHOLE THING. Smith 629-6 .44 Magnum Three inch Mag-na-port barrel I bought this from Guns.com a year or two ago. Great shooter, I just prefer single actions. ———————————————————— The following is from a conversation I had with Smith and Wesson a little while back: "SKU #150021 Made in 2007 TALO exclusive made for RSR group 216 of them made before they started calling them the Trail Boss" I do not have the original wood grips though. It has a set of Hogues on it. BUT, after the conversation with the guy at Smith and Wesson I looked on Gunbroker and found a pre-lock Smith 629-4 that says “Trail Boss” on the side. So now I’m even more confused and I still don’t know what in the Cotton-Pickin-Dickens this thing is. ———————————————————— Twice now I’ve seen this same gun with the original wood grips listed on GB for around the $1800 mark. Why, I don’t know. I’m putting this back up for trade to get something I’ll use in the woods more. I’d be interested in a Ruger Bisley 44 with the 5.5” barrel, or something like a Smith 44 Mountain Gun.

Dadgummit. This is killing me. One of my favorite guns. I wish you had posted this when I sold my Sig. I would have gladly set my project aside and scooped this up. I'd have to sell something else now. I might try that but I'm sure it'll be gone anyway. DADGUMMIT -
Yyyyep. He's out of, I believe, their Clarksville office. The Saturday Night Live description is pretty accurate.

I would dearly love to be able to attend that, but I can't. I've been wanting to start studying church history.
