I know. I was just in the mood this week to see. Most of the time I dont want people to know I carry just because i dont want them to know.

So this week I decided to open carry at work, kind of an experiment to see who noticed. I own the place so no big deal. Today was the first day that somebody noticed, well three times. The first was a lady who thought it was some kind of pricing gun. When she asked, I told her that yes it was a gun. She wanted to know if I had a permit for it. I informed her that yes I did and here in TN it is legal to open carry. And we do have to go to a class, qualify in shooting and go though several background checks as well as finger printing. She said "Well ok. I think it is perfectly fine to carry here I just didnt know that you could also open carry. It is not that way in Colorado. She said that now she was going to sign up for a class. The second was an employee who said, just jokingly, "do you know you have a gun on your hip?" I responded yes, and that was the end of it. The last time was from two women who noticed and just asked is that a gun? I said yes it is. And again I went though how you get a permit and so on. She then asked why I carried. I used the facts that I have learned from this forum and ended it with a joke, because a cop is to heavy. The women laughed and smiled, then left. It is pretty interesting that nobody would notice till today. It was a busy week and we had a lot of people coming though the store. Just goes to show that most people are only seeing themselves and not others.

In the long run, just get an ipod shuffle or an older ipod. It will be worth it since you can buy music online. If you get a Nano for instance, You can charge you ipod and and listen to the music at the same time. I have an old 30 gig in my jeep that wont hold a charge but works fine with my music.

I wear one each day that I put on my Mall Ninja out fit. Helps me keep tactical and lets the other people know that I am the man....

I used to work for a First Tennessee bank and I would not recommend them. From being on the inside, run. 5/3 is good and more are showing up. I would also tell you to look at Greenbank. Pretty good.

I just got the P22 and love it. Put about 300 rounds yesterday though it and not a single issue. It was 349 plus tax. Great gun but as the guys told me on this site, all wiser than me, get extra mags. It would have been more fun.

If it ever comes to the time when this happens, I am pretty sure Texas will succeed from the US. We would have the Republic of Texas again. They have oil, sea ports, guns, manufacturing, and hot women. What else would you need?

Well the Kel tec and the Kimber pretty much covered the AR, but not the P22 but what the heck.

I traded my kel tec PF9 and my Kimber Ultra CDP II in 9mm for a P22 and a SW MP15 today. I just had to. I was going to get another carry gun but that AR was just calling my name. Guns and Leather hooked me up. I got the P22 to just have fun with at the range and well the AR because... I don't know. Guess I just wanted it. Now I just need a 45 for my zombie protection.

Well I did it today. I went and got a P22 and something else. An S&W MP15. Just had too. Posting Pics from my phone on the show and tell.

I would if it was a .45. It is a 9mm. Got it thinking I might like only having to buy one kind of ammo. Well not so much... No issues but just not like my glock.

Thinking of trading in my Kimber Ultra CDP II for a P22 and a PK380. I dont really carry it much and it is in great condition. Do you all think this is a good idea? I think the P22 would just be a fun gun to have for plinking away at the range (cheaper too) and the PK380 for me to carry in the summer when the weather is nice and as a bug in the winter. What do you all think?

Today my dad finally gave me two of this guns to clean. They had NEVER been cleaned. They are pretty clean now but I was hoping you all help me figure out if they are any good and maybe what cost they are. The first is a S&W 422 all black. I have found some info on it but I am wondering how much it is worth. The second is a 5 shot revolver. It has a gold label with "ind nac de armas brasil" on both sides. Is it a good gun? I just cant find any info on it. I am trying to help him decide if he can sell both of them to get a gun for my mother. Left my camera at work so I apologize in advance for no pictures. I will get them up as soon as I can.

I have a Kel Tec PF 9 in 9mm but the recoil is horrible. The smaller PPS in 9mm is so smooth. If you can find one, get the PPS.

I have a round chambered in my glock and kel tec all the time. I change out the mags every month and give it a break. I also change my carry ammo every 6 months just because. If you dont carry one chambered that can be around 5 seconds from drawing you weapon to racking the slide that the other person has a chance to attack you. I guess you could always through the gun at them first....

Thanks for the info. It looks like a bunch of fun and great training. I started to think on the range today how much better it would be than just standing still shooting. Going to have to find a free weekend and do it. And well have to wait till I can find ammo anywhere. Thanks again, Wrangler
