As I said, I love mine. The only issue that I have had with it was the plastic in the handle breaking off near the belt clip attachment. I sent it back to SOG and within 2-3 weeks had a brand new Flash II in my hand. They didn't even bother to just repair. I will say that I don't care for the way that the safety switch is positioned on the body of the knife. It's near the heel of the handle, which makes it a little goofy for one-handed manipulation if you have the safety ON. I'm probably going to order another SOG in a different configuration for EDC.

I have a SOG Flash II and love it. I also have a little Gerber somethingoranother with spring-assist and partially serrated blade. The Gerber tends to stay in my pocket more often than not simply because I really don't care if it gets beat to hell, dulled up, or lost. I'd be pretty upset if I lost my SOG and it's a sub-$100 knife.

That's really not a bad price if he also re-finishes the slide so that it won't corrode where the milling was done.

No need to do that if you really like the holster! Just pick up a single-mag pouch for carry on your weak side and use the mag pouch in that holster for another spare mag or for carrying a flashlight or knife or something.
