  1. Heck yeah! "Get your butt back in that game. You've got nine other fingers! What's the problem?!?"
  2. Pfft. You wouldn't show up even if we held the shoot in your kitchen on a Tuesday morning.
  3. My dad always told me to rub some dirt in it and walk it off. This is what's wrong with America; men in touch with their feelings.
  4. Pretty sci-fi looking. Can you set it for STUN?
  5. Here are a few that I shot and felt turned out pretty good... #1 - Our shorty AR15 #2 - Browning .30CAL #3 - Browning .30CAL #4 - Westwindmike driving the Browning #5 - Daniel watches as GT_Rat drives the Browning #6 - Shima takes his turn driving the Browning #7 - What's in the bed of YOUR pickup? #8 - Another view #9 - Ma Deuce #10 - Mark A running his SIG #11 - Another shot of the Shorty #12 - Anyone who refuses to shoot a Mosin because "it hurts" needs to talk to XD Shooter's 12 year old son about that. #13 - My wife shooting Hornet Handler's Springfield MC Operator 1911 #14 - XD Shooter's son firing their Mosin Nagant while proud dad looks on from behind #15 - Angel24/7 getting some trigger time behind their AR15 We tried to catch the muzzle blast out of this AR15 pistol but the Wolf ammo just didn't produce the fire ball that we had hoped. Unfortunately I wasn't there to witness the string using Federal XM193; they said it produced a good bit of blast.
  6. Dillon Swage tool. [link]
  7. I'm going to work on photos tonight and try to have them posted up this evening or sometime early tomorrow. Thanks again to all showed. That weather was a killer. Almost washed us all away.
  8. Dude... I thought you were there today! I gave your Glock slide to someone who said he was you??
  9. Welcome! It's always good to know a gunsmith. Are you going to set up shop here in TN once you're in the area?
  10. Welcome, Ron. I was born and raised in McCracken Co. and have only called Tennessee my home for the past 10 years. Nice to have you here with us.
  11. I don't believe I've ever seen any targets for sale there, but I will have enough with me that you can have a few. They'll be USPSA style "milk bottle" targets but they're good for shooting at all the same.

Steve I had no idea you had two TRP models; I just thought you had the stainless. I'm really digging the OD and black model.
  13. I can't think of any other than the few open-carry folks. Open carry has always been legal without a permit in my home state of Kentucky, so I remember seeing a few folks up there doing it. Mostly farmers. I think it's proof that the only person likely to notice your handgun "printing" beneath a shirt is another person carrying concealed. Sometimes we are a little more observant than the other folks out there. The majority of people going about their daily lives, not carrying themselves, probably don't even notice the slight bulge in your shirt. And even if they do, they probably don't know what they are seeing.
  14. I'm no poster child for this, but the vast majority of accuracy problems are the result of operator error. Proper trigger control, sight picture and follow through are what determines accuracy. I realize that you're asking about a specific firearm, but you initiated the conversation with the XD being a fix for your accuracy problems with a smaller weapon. I've watched another person take my S&W J-frame and dot the center of an 8-inch target at 25yds. Can I do that? Sure. Do I do that? Rarely. I'm capable of it and the firearm is capable of it, I just need more work on trigger control.
  15. Unfortunately, probably not. Daniel and I need to discuss having the slide re-blasted and then me shooting it again with moly resin to remedy a problem that I spotted after it was done. I'm not going to be happy unless it's 100% and right now it's not.
  16. I'd recommend the Vicker's extended mag release for your new 19 also. It made a surprising bit of difference in the ergonomics of mine.
  17. I'm not sure I understand. Are you asking if you can promote your hosting gig as a service to our members? We've always allowed our members to plug their non-firearms related business as long as it doesn't become so routinely intrusive that it might as well be "spam".
  18. H&K: Why You Suck and Why We Hate You. The Unabridged Edition. In German. Zing!
  19. I had you pegged for an Airsoft guy.
  20. I just don't get that, but to each his own I guess. I like to know that the people I talk to in person are the same as they are online and vice versa. I'm a pretty likeable smartass in person just like I am on here.
  21. What I want to know is, how do you conduct a meeting of any importance in a room with so many distractions?
  22. We are still awaiting confirmation on a few things. We've got a few weeks to get the specifics nailed down and we know what day it's going to be on.
  23. It's a 15# spring. Just found my old thread about it.
