  1. Kudos to you for the quick reaction!
  2. Apex Tactical has an extended, non-ambi mag release coming soon for the Echelon. I've added it to my list mainly because I have Shrek thumbs and prefer extended mag releases so that I don't have to break my shooting grip. It would probably solve the other problem pretty well too.
  3. UGH!!! But, it's nice seeing you posting @midtennchip!
  4. Here's a brand new one, optic ready, in stock at a reasonable price. https://battlehawkarmory.com/product-details?id=791623
  5. Would it work out to about the same price to just buy a new optics-ready EDC X9 and then sell yours? That would alleviate the problem of being without a gun, and would ensure that you get one done correctly by Wilson Combat.
  6. Someone posted something similar not too long ago. Was that you? My answer is pretty much the same as before: A Wilson Combat EDC X9 is not a cheap gun and not one I'd trust to just anyone. I would get on Wilson Combat's wait list and let them handle it.
  7. Summary Upgrade of forum software for July 2023 Explanation Invision Community 4.7.12 Released 07/17/2023 Key Changes: This is our July maintenance release. https://invisioncommunity.com/release-notes/4712-r124/
  8. Honestly I knew that I had them but I wasn't sure where they were. I found them yesterday while cleaning out a few things in my storage area. They're yours!
  9. I have to agree with this. The triggers on the two PDPs that I had got a TON better within a hundred rounds and a lot of dry fire.
  10. SOLD: Batch of six Walther PDP / PPQ 15-round Magazines These are genuine Walther 15-round magazines that fit the PDP and PPQ. A few of these are brand new and have never been used, as evidenced by the lack of carbon on the red followers. A few are fired. All of them are in excellent condition. Any that were fired have had less than 500 rounds through them, as the gun itself had less than 500 rounds through it when I sold it. Street price on these seems to be around $45.00 per magazine at MidwayUSA: Walther Mag PDP C PPQ M2 Q5 9mm Luger 15-Round Anti-Friction Coating (midwayusa.com) Will sell the whole batch of six for $175.00. If you are bad at math, that's less than $30 per mag. TERMS OF SALE: Payment via PayPal or Venmo only. Shipping is $5.00 to anyone in the lower 48 US states. $180 TOTAL price. NOT interested in any trades. NOT able to meet in person. WILL throw in some TGO stickers. MORE PHOTOS: Reason for selling? I sold both of my Walther PDPs. I no longer need these.
  11. Might as well start one of these threads. Here's mine. I had a Holosun 508T-X2-GR green dot optic and a spare Streamlight TLR7A weapon light lying around, so onto the Echelon they went. INITIAL IMPRESSIONS... I have not yet had a chance to fire it but hope to be able to do so tomorrow. At this point, dry fire practice is all that I have with it. Even still, I am greatly impressed by the way the gun feels in the hand and really hope that Springfield releases a Glock 19 sized variant, since this one is identical in size to the Glock 17. The ergonomics are superb. The grip texture is essentially what all of you Hellcat owners have been enjoying since that model was released. The texture uses an interesting design where there are taller "granules" that provide the initial bit of traction, and then shorter granules beneath them that you add more traction as you apply greater grip pressure. This keeps the texture from being rough against the skin like some guns are [I'm looking at you here, Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0] but gives you more traction when you need it. I dig it. The trigger is excellent. Glock snobs will love it and also hate the fact that the factory Glock trigger doesn't feel as good. There is a moderate amount of pre-travel, a crisp wall, and a very short reset with strong tactile feedback. The Sig P320 doesn't have anything that feels like this. If the P320 trigger drives you crazy, this is your jam. If you like the P320 trigger, you might not care for this one. The front cocking serrations on the slide are executed better than any I've seen yet. I really like the "trench" design wherein the scallop of the serrations goes slightly deeper into the slide toward the ejection port. This will help prevent your hand from slipping off of them as you use the front serrations for a press check or to completely cycle the slide. Very well done. While running an optic makes the cocking "wings" on the trailing edge of the slide unnecessary, I really do like that they are there for aesthetics, and for functionality if you prefer to run iron sights sans an optic. They took what Heckler & Koch started with the funky ears on the VP9 slide and made it more practical and more durable. I bought this thing just to see what the hype was about and really had no intention of carrying it, but... damned if I might not just do that. If the gun shoots as good as it feels, and as good as everyone says it does, then this thing might end up going places. With me. Literally.
  12. It's helpful to remember that it was inside of an adult movie theater. I am going to guess that a person doesn't go into one of those unless they are comfortable seeing a wiener, on screen or otherwise. Not saying this makes him a saint but he wasn't exactly at a Saturday afternoon public screening of Free Willy. (see what I did there?) Dude had another run in with the law later that was definitely a little more worrisome. Apparently he was busted for possession of child pornography, although the charges were later dropped due to some mishandling of the case. Hollywood is a cesspool.
  13. It would have been fun to hang around all three of them at once. The comedy would have been amazing.
  14. I'm taking the plunge just to see what the hype is about. I have an Echelon on the way and should have it before the weekend. I will post initial impressions as soon as I have it, and will report back on how well it runs at the range. For what it's worth, I am interested in seeing how well HS Produkt has married the best elements of the Glock and Sig P320. I'm not expecting this to be a "Glock Killer" or even a "P320 Killer". What I hope it ends up being is something that motivates both Glock and Sig to do better.
  15. My absolute favorite is my Staccato C2. My absolute favorite to carry is still my Glock 19.
  16. GOODNESS!!! Bill, I have nothing to add that the others haven't already said, but it is clear the God has a purpose for her yet in this life. And hooray for whoever at Apple came up with the idea to build "crash detection" into the iPhone. WOW.
  17. Guys, in response to several comments that I have received from members of TGO, I corresponded with @Tavalin90 and this is his personally owned firearm. He is not selling this on behalf of a gun store, but he does work at a gun store
  18. You just outted yourself, player. Could have kept quiet and only two of you would have known that DJTC45 was talking about you. Now we all know. Don't be such a drama llama.
  19. I think this just pushed me over the edge to buy one. I have been eyeballing them as a way to introduce my kids to handguns as they get older.
  20. I have almost ordered one three times today. Right now I'm resisting.
