  1. IMO Cooper is a massive tool. Same here, last go around w/ restaraunt carry he pulled the form letter response AFTER he'd slung a veto our way. Good riddance to this to Phil. But after the veto I did give a quick call to his office and give them my opinion. (made me feel better)
  2. His bad carma is from changing his name to Lord Jesus Christ.
  3. -21 here. Get an automatic -20 for HCP!
  4. Correct. :slapfight: But my issue is with the feel of some previous posts seeming to infer that ALL security guards as "Paul Blart-Mall Cop" are trained, charged and dutied with the same responsibilities as Security police such as Vandy U Police. This simply isn't true. Armed and unarmed security require state licensure, BUT security POLICE are commisioned, sworn and POST certified law officers. This is a HUGE difference. As stated in an earlier post a majority of employers now do hire security firms and proprietary security departments practice the "detect, deter, observe and report" methodology. Security officers are not required to make arrests, but have the authority to make a citizen's arrest, or otherwise act as an agent of law enforcement at the request of a police officer, sheriff and others. In addition to the methodology mentioned above, a private security officer's primary duty is the prevention and deterrence of crime. A company often times chooses to have restrict guards from citizen's arrests for fear of liability. Just my HERE WE GO!
  5. No... No... No... The $489K is the "Starting At" bone stock model. If you want the one with the tires on the rims, premium floor mats, paint protectant and interior installed it's like 25-30% more!:D
  6. XD9 s/c 3" essentials just over $400. XD9 4" around $450ish. Always a good choice IMO
  7. +1 couldn't resist or the "Double Tap"
  8. A security guard has NO MORE right to make an arrest than any other citizen. I have the same powers to arrest the security guard if I witness him violating the law as he does me. The thing about arrest by private citizen is the fact that there is NO PROTECTION or immunity granted for the private citizen enforcing the arrest. You'd better make D*&M sure you are in the right by making the arrest and you still face the possibility of getting into more legal problems than the BG. When it turns out the BG didn't commit the crime, or manages to slip out of and beat the charge.... Uh-oh, (In Tennessee, A person commits false imprisonment (a Class A misdemeanor) when he or she knowingly removes or confines another unlawfully so as to interfere substantially with the other's liberty. Tenn. Code Ann. § 39-13-302)
  9. Wow. Just another small example of how only a few with the loudests voices can change the whole game for the silent masses. Sad to see how a couple of hundred years worth of values, ethics and patriotism can just go down the tube in as few as a couple of decades. (When god fearing americans continue to sit by idle) I wonder what shape this country will be in when my children are grown. It scares me for them.
  10. Legal... Legal... All legal postings! The sign can be written in Arabic with a hand drawn kindergarten circle/slash and... BINGO... its legal!
  11. Anyone have any idea when "This act shall take effect the public welfare requiring it?" Is it instantanious (upon signature of Shredison, veto override, etc.) or does it have a future date?
  12. Well. Here we go...... Get out the lube. Its on.

  21. I'm not feeling too good about this bill getting shot down in the house. I mailed Rep. Fincher 4/22 and stated that I'd rather have no bill at all, than the amended version. I've Still to get a response. Henry ALWAYS responds FAST, or at least if he agrees! Worries me a little!
