Please, ALL do the same. We have a voice. Make it heard. Call and write your lawmakers, and let them know we are watching, and are not pleased with the way they are handling things. No point in bit**in' here but then not aiming your grievences at those who have the ability to fix things.

I did the same. Rep Fincher, Dear Sir, I am very troubled by the amendment attached to SB3012 / HB3125. I feel that this legislation is important, but I would rather have NO carry where alcohol is served- as it is now, than to lose carry in many places currently utilizing the circle/slash only. Are you opined as to the possibility of the amendment being removed when brought to the floor for a vote or some similar action being planned by TRUE 2A supportive lawmakers? It appeared when the bill was introduced that it might be good legislation, but I was extremely disappointed when some of the supposedly more pro 2nd amendment senators supported and voted for an amendment that in actuality, could REDUCE our rights as HCP holders. (In my honest opinion, if Nafieh can comment positively, on a piece of gun legislation, then we the honest HCP holder must be in trouble) C) A building, property or a portion of a building or property, shall be considered properly posted in accordance with this section if one (1) or both of the following is displayed in prominent locations, including all entrances primarily used by persons entering the property, building, or portion of the property or building where weapon possession is prohibited: (i) The international circle and slash symbolizing the prohibition of the item within the circle; or (ii) The posting sign described in this subdivision Please tell me that I am somehow misunderstanding the current legislation, or that it is part of a larger plan and the amendment will be removed this from the bill and it will EXPAND the law abiding citizens right to self defense. For those who missed my original gripe a few weeks ago, it goes a little somethin like this... I don't get to purchase a new handgun very often. After a little studying, and against the advice of a couple of friends I work with, I decided to leave my comfort zone(SA, S&W, SIG) and purchased a brand new Kahr P380! Sweet little gun, and makes my XD sub appear to be a MONSTER! It is as concealable as one could ask for, super thin, great feeling and overall aesthetically amazing! Wow! (excuse the LG cell pics) Compared to my XDs/c Now... Hope I haven't screwed up royally this time. Here is the email I just sent to Kahr requestin a Return Authorization: NIB. Purchased YESTERDAY! Tried multiple cartridge types, and ALL fail to battery. Attempted slide lock, mag insert, then slide release, FAILS TO BATTERY. Mag inserted, then manual slide rack, FAILS TO BATTERY. Hand loaded 1 round and fired, 2nd round FAILS TO BATTERY. Appears to hang round on extractor. I AM NOT PLEASED WITH MY 1st KAHR PURCHASE! New out of box and stripped to clean and THERE ARE NO MARKINGS ANYWHERE ON THE FIREARM TO INDICATE ANY TEST FIRING FROM FACTORY! I purchased at the same time as friend who urged me to buy a SIG p238 as he did, I hope this was not a mistake. I also hope your customer svc/repair can make up for the disappointment I have had with this weapon. ************************************************** UPDATE...Heres my experince with Kahr Arms. After sending above email to Kahr, I recieved a response the next day... Your RA is 575C. Because of the circumstances we can pick up shipping on this. Our Fed Ex account number is **********. When you ship it just let them know they need to bill it to that account. Please email me back if you need any other info. Ian Burr ----------------------------------------------------------------- I made it to the local FedEx office at 5:45pm (Monday), shipped it overnight air ($50 some odd on their dime!). They signed for it the next day (Tuesday) am. THAT FRIDAY I get home from work and there is a FedEx door hanger saying they missed me and required a signature!!! I rushed that afternoon to pick it up. Sent Monday afternoon to Worcester MA, and had it back Friday!! WOW! It appears the Moons know about taking care of their customers! Work order shows they polished feed ramp, slide stop, and slide, as well as replaced the extractor and recoil spring. Report: I LOVE IT! Just over 100 rounds through it and NO FAILURES OF ANY KIND!! NADA! Sweet shooter, and suprisingly accurate for such a small weapon. 100% Recommend Kahr!

(3:30 our time) I would have felt sorry for the person on the other end of the line, had they have answered me when I called earlier! Any other New Gun horrors out there?

Considering a Kahr MK9,(possibly a p380Kahr) for those "extra concealed" moments? Opinions? Also how will it compare in size (pocketability) to say my XD subcompact?

I agree with you, and I am a co-sponsor on this bill. I will vote for it next week and when it comes to the House floor. I am a handgun carry permit holder and state-certified HCP course instructor. Like you, I understand that drawing arbitrary lines barring HCP holders creates dangerous zones where criminals can prey on us, and I see no reason to trust HCP holders up to the doors of restaurants but not letting them go in. As long as the HCP holder isn't drinking, there's no difference between O'Charley's and Shoneys, where we have been allowed to carry for years.
