    My Christmas

I ask Santa for something that would be easier on me to clean. Man I must have a really good boy! the upper that's on the lower came that way! woo whoo!
  4. +1 on the 5,56 barnes TTXS pass thru at 150 yards
  5. 6.8 all the TTSX bullets stay MOA or better, also there a company that makes sub-sonic specific uppers and barrels with a 1 x 7 twist for a 200 grain bullet.
  6.   Slowsure, congrats to your 4th overall shooting heavy metal at that!
  7. look out all! Dustbuster was/is trained by Spiffy!!
  8.   this nothing to do about issue and I hope it's fixed. but the most common setup for 3 gun is light/low mass not heavy. with that said, it's all in the eye of the shooter.
  9. WOW, I can not believe they dropped that.   well as long as the rules are the same for all wheel gunners I guess it does not matter.
  10. doesn't the rule book say or said that the stages must be six shooter friendly?
  11. true, but I have been trying hard to get him and spiffy to the rock, and do not want to scare them off. :) but I am sure they ain't scared.   have not got to play with vortex, but did get to play with J. Parkers Bushnell's set up, nice!
  12. https://www.primaryarms.com/Primary-Arms-1-6X-Scope-with-ACSS-Reticle-p/pa1-6xrbd.htm   I have not seen one but the price is okay but I am sure you get what u pay for
  13.   that would put u into open (red dot). but u can use irons at 45 in any class. most clubs a 100 or less
  14. if its for the 3 gun game 1 x 4 scope. at 1 power the field of view is much better than a fixed 4x. it is something you would have to get use too. and if the acog has a delta they can be hard to use on a 12" flash target a distance.
  15. the barrel clamp is Dave's metal works and it looks like the tube is also. just fyi found on SSI looking for something else.

    CZ Owners

the CZ 75B-SA to me is a what I called a poor man's 1911 we had one for a few years. the lock up is just like a 1911 and works from the lock and cocked position. the reason I called it a poor man's1911 is because it cost about half as much. and yes as long as you use brass ammo, 100%
  17. to me all good choices, the A400 should have less recoil over the M2. but the M2 will be easier to clean.
  18. I do not think for a local match it would matter. I do believe the 1911 only was dropped. here the pro/am link so you can be sure.   http://www.rock3gun.com/
  19. no not all, my 1 x 7 shot 55 grain ammo 90% of the time. only used the 77 on long range stages, now if you want to shoot say 45 grain bullet then 1-8.
  20. I guess I need to add that up till last year I would "open carry" a long gun several times a year, either by walking down the road to show off a new toy or per the land owner's request park up on top the hill and hunt back 50 that you had to walk too. so I would be walking down a public road ready to hunt and mostly with my AR. it was about 3/8 of a mile.   I fully support the 2nd, but I did vote NO. because, just like the guy last year or so, the guy who went for a walk in a public park with a AK pistol on his back for the attention. (is what I think). every few months it seems there someone's pistol accidently going off in there pocket at Wal-Mart, if that was to happen with a center fire rifle WOW bullet splatter hurts and will draw blood. then there will people claiming they got shot just trying to shop, and all it would be is splatter. the press would have a field day. and I do not think we anymore bad press.   just me
  21. the white oak armament SPR barrel. a great barrel that with the 77 OTM would stay sub MOA as far as I could shoot it. unless I was on a long range stage at a match:)
  22. Damn, only if I knew how to read. I caught hell trying to copy and paste the flier from my e-mail.   I was told one of the e-mail address is just returned from someone trying to get on there e-mail list.
  23. there was and it gone. when I was a kid 12, 13 & 14. my parents would take me to the gray hound bus station with my 22 mag level action. in a soft case in the seat with me and I rode the bus about 125 miles where my grandfather would pick me up to go to deer camp and of course back home again. no one ever looked twice and never saw any L.E. there was a DQ at the stop and I could just walk in. also everyone had guns in window rack, when I got old enough so did I, but never left them over night. I never had one stolen or knew of anyone that did. but that was years ago. when a long gun was a bolt, lever etc. I would not do that today, because I am sure it would come up missing. this was a time before the evil black rifle and AK.
  24. 1 x 4 scope for me. a true 1 power, to me is no different than a red dot. but you have eye relief. and I use a 50 yard zero. it just what u want and plan on doing with it.
  25. the VM is a great 3 gun shotgun and simple to clean. since I got hurt it was just heavy for me.
