  1. I got 1st place in my division AND top lady. WHOOHOO!!!!!! W of RWF.
  2. hmm, shouldn't you be wearing eye protection anyway? or am missing something? and then +1 on what mike asked.
  3. as a basic rule a 50 yard 0 with your 223 will put you as u said about 2" high and on at 200. no this is not 100% but for most it will be very close. about 3" high at 100 would be close to a 300 yard zero. try this and see how it works for you. of course the X ring shooter would be unhappy with this.
  4. i am not a gun smith but i would not file on the trigger bar,s can't you adjust/bend the bow just a little to make it wider? tim can the trigger bars be widen?
  5. +1 just go and have fun. if you use the 1911 have a way to carry about 5 mags on your belt. same if you use the glock in production. if you use the glock in limited you will not need as many on the belt because you fill up the mags. so if you do not have 5 or 6 mags or a way to carry that many you can get away with only 3 (total 1 in the gun 2 on the belt) in limited. which by the way is both of our's favorite division.
  6. it is always nice to be missed, thanks for filling in for me.
  7. but i already know that you do not know any better! great overall finish, what about that other ak shooter hognut? i guess it just my ago showing for many years only the bad guys wore those thihgs.
  8. hi Carl it is great that you still shooting and taking great pictures. did u use the bull barrel AR? i heard about the young man who did a great job (10 years old i heard), but what is the world coming to! a great young shooter using a commie vest !
  9. That would be W of RWF. Where are the scores?

  13. What do you consider a downpour? W of RWF
  14. Hognut, my wonderfully wicked wife went out and bought some Muck boots so she could try the rifle match. They cost $60.00 plus tax so that should be good for about 3 or 4 free ( no charge ) matches.
  15. hope to be there sunday
  16. it only my "Friends" i shot with that gave me hell and we all shot aweful. but at the club house with my 500 in the rack it sure looked out of place. did mention it only had a 20" barrel.
  17. +1 try before you buy. years ago i shot real sporting clays (by that i mean we rode bay to bay) with a mossy 500 had fun and "friends" had fun with my black 500 and there very nice o/u etc. for me it was like i was in jeans and everyone else was in a tux. i mean no bad things to anyone had fun and everyone was great, clay boys i think they called where great also.
  18. Just a note I NEVER SEEN ANYONE TURNED AWAY AT A CLUB LEVEL MATCH because of too many shooters. that's any club we have been at. only once at major match have i known of someone turn away. numbers only really become a issue at national level matches, IDPA, FB3G etc. but this is only based on what i have seen myself.
  19. awww poor quent. lol W of RWF
  20. you weren't suppose to let him know that you knew what he was getting. W
