  1. I was a little skeptical about it, but the Galco Matrix snap-on holster works great for the PM9. I have one and love it.
  2. I'm in for a Nashville area event. If you need an area where we can shoot rifles, I could host.
  3. I carried my GI today. I couldn't care less about night sights or any of the rest of those doodads, even though I have plenty of guns with all of that. I love my GI and carry it at least as often as anything else. It's a great choice, go forth with confidence.
  4. It's right next to Swanky's. Just kidding. It's on the west side of Carothers just north of Cool Springs Boulevard.
  5. I made a point to check the door at Swanky's today as I left from lunch at Cajun Steamer. The posting, which I personally saw a couple of weeks ago, is definitely gone. They are not posted.
  6. There are "no go" calibers for me (anything smaller than 9mm or larger than .45 ACP). Within the acceptable range, I fulfill wants.
  7. I own a PM9. I love it. It is a great carry gun, the trigger is very smooth, the recoil entirely manageable. It is quite accurate.
  8. A schedule of events/speakers would have been helpful. I didn't know who was speaking when I got there at 11:15, did not know who was next, and therefore did not know whether I wanted to stay past 1:30 when I left. A coffee klatch area would have been nice, set up for the weather. It was crazy crowded in the store, I pity the fool who just drove over to Outpost for a box of ammo yesterday. There were a bunch of people talking shop indoors who probably would have migrated outside if it had been pretty. The shuttle was a great plan regardless of the weather. I rode the shuttle from the Barrett facility and both going and coming I had people on the bus with me that wouldn't have been comfortable walking to and from the event. If it hadn't been cold, I would have been OC, but my coat covered my rig. I'm 95% CC, but yesterday was, in my opinion, an OC friendly event by for and of the people of our kind. All in all, pretty good. I'll come to the next one. Thanks!
  9. I love my PM9. It displaced my P3AT from the carry rotation.
  10. That was the Burrito Express. He called it Taco Express when he opened it in its present location, then changed it to Oscar's. My family loves it, I've been going there since he opened.
  11. A couple of days ago there was a small sticker on the glass on the front door.
  12. I stand corrected. It's Oscar's. I had my name change reversed. I have nothing to add on the fish taco debate, but if there is better salsa in Williamson County I'd like to know where. Swanky's, PF Chang's and that filthy Waffle House on 96-W are off my list because they have posted.
  13. +1 on Oscars, but it is now known as "Taco Express." He's opening another across from Centennial High for you east side types. I did not know PF Changs is posted. In the last week, my office mates and I have spent a couple hundred bucks at Cajun Steamer. They know my policy, so we won't be going to Swanky's.
  14. However, the Cajun Steamer next door is not. The Cajun Steamer has pretty good food and a staff that has all the attributes that superficial man seeks.
  15. Franklin Gun Shop had a few j-frames, but none without the lock. One phone call and one hour drive later, baddabing. In my world, all guns shops are local gun shops.
  16. Mr. Williams, you have one less than you did yesterday. In this case, G&L was the local gun shop.
  17. Just picked this one up today. The local gun shop had two. It was all I could do to leave with only one.
  18. That's an ugly entry wound.
  19. I have a Supertuck for my 1911s and another for my G19/G32. I also have a Minituck for my PM9. These are the last IWB holsters I will ever buy, there are none more comfortable, and I have about a thousand dollars worth of other makers' goods.
  20. I CC almost always, but I did have lunch in Franklin today while OC. I noticed only one guy even notice, he kind of did a double take, then checked to see if the guy with me was carrying, too. He wasn't. No one said a word to me.
  21. I own a PM9 and I have found that it displaced my jframes, the P3AT, and often even my G19 as my carry gun. It is a fine pistol and I recommend it highly.

    My ND

A buddy of mine once thought he had his Glock cleared. I don't know why, but he decided to confirm that his gun was unloaded by pointing it at his bed and pulling the trigger. You can imagine how unhappy his wife was with the hole in her mattress and box spring set.
