For these SD rounds, from somewhere that actually can deliver them, that seems to be the case. I've seen them listed for about $15/box, but that place - like most - didn't have them and didn't seem to be able to get them. I'd like to try some other SD rounds for comparison, but these are the only thing I've been able to actually get my hands on.

My personal experience has been that there are two temperatures in Montana - unbelievably cold and amazingly hot. With that said, I'd seriously consider a move there if my wife would agree. I've got family in that area and the wide open land is very appealing.

Ammo purchase limits comes to Chattanooga Wallyworlds
RinTN replied to a topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Yes, I think it's Walker Springs. It's the one that's next door to the Sam's Club. I was there at about 7 pm and there was a note stuck on the doors to the ammo cabinet. FWIW, I've also been to the Walmart in Greeneville and two in Johnson City today - all three had the notice posted, so I'm guessing it's a corporate decision. -
if I had actually thought they would ship it. Maybe I just got lucky, but I ordered some Golden Saber .380 from Bass Pro Shops yesterday. Oddly enough, it shipped today. If anyone is looking for .380 SD rounds, it might be worth giving a try.

It looks like your wish is coming true. I was at the Walmart near west town mall today and they had a sign up about the limit. -
Restaurant Carry HB0962 To Be Voted On Today 04/06/09

Gee, I guess I was assuming that he was an upstanding guy. Now that you mention it, that's probably a poor assumption to make about any politician. -
Restaurant Carry HB0962 To Be Voted On Today 04/06/09
RinTN replied to waynesan's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Given the overall support for the legislation, I can only come up with two options at this point: 1) He really believe that the time limits will make a difference 2) He believes that it won't get past Gov B without the limit I don't know what it takes to make this a law if it's vetoed though. So, #2 may not be a real issue. -
I believe it's (615) 251-8590.

According to the discussion, it's a company policy. I can't remember the last time I actually ate at a Waffle House, so I don't know if any are properly posted or not. Of course, if I noticed they weren't, I wouldn't mention it to them. ;-)
-
The law is just about places serving alcohol. With that said, I saw the following posted on another site in reference to Waffle House.

I recently saw a p3at in a local store for $319. Interestingly enough, I've seen the LCP's in two local stores for only $299. Of course, the LCP's sold out fast.

Mine's not been 30 days yet, but that sounds about like the conversation that I had when I called. I figure I'll just try again when I get a chance.

Q: Why haven't you got a permit yet? A: Awaiting processing.
-
Nope, it doesn't sound bad at all. Quite the contrary, they are some of the most informed and logical comments.
-
For those who have been waiting, I just got the following - " Great news! Your NRA Membership has been processed! It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the NRA family. ..."

Do you mean this one - (866) 849-3548? I'm a little confused because the post you quoted mentioned a 615 number.

This one disappoints me greatly. I can't help but think of the lives that might have been saved at VT if someone other than Seung-Hui Cho had a gun with them.

That's good to hear. I know that at times changes like this are suggested by those who actually want a bill to fail by pushing it from what's perceived as "middle" ground. I can certainly see your point, though you are in a somewhat unique - and more challenging - position. And, I'd really like to see the law instituted without a cut off time. With that said, I'd rather see the bill pass with an 11 pm cut off than fail without one.

"Did I say anything that I maybe should not have?" I don't think so. With that said, I wonder about Kelsey's motivation to remove the 11 pm limitation. I don't know anything about the guy, so maybe I'm just paranoid. But, I have to wonder if removing it might decrease the chance the legislation ever becomes law.
-
Yes, it seems that's the case!

Next time I'll think before I just put "JC" in a post!
