  2. I have some 556/223 on stripper clips, I've tried a few times to use them to load my mags with no sucess, am I missing a "adapter" part of am I just inept with these things?
  3. :hiding::hiding: Comment removed. Sorry.
  4. Ok, well that makes sense, this guy has been laid up for about 8 months with heart bypasses and complications from that so I guess he would think it was new. Thansk for the info
  5. Got a call from a friend of mine, said there was a new gun store in Nashville called Gunsforamerica. anybody heard of this?
  6. This thread is like a train wreck, you can't help but look.
  7. Which shop?
  8. Damn, with friend like that who need enemys?
  9. According to Remington "any manufacture that has an auto loading 17Hmr is recalling them" And the problem stems from "blowing up receivers"
  10. If they had worked for me I would have promoted them.
  11. City of Athens opts out of Gun in parks, 4 to 1 vote, Dick Pelle is the only one to see the truth :all your going to do is keep HCP holders out of our parks"
  12. I had to do it.
  13. I have 2 problems with this, first and foremost, I paid them cash money, I don't want no stinking coupon that I HAVE to buy another Remington gun, and 2 I paid 280.00 for my 597. Might have been too much I don't know but They ain't getting off that easy. Besides I just bought about 12 boxes of 17HMR, none of it remington brand so I'd be screwed out of that money as well. Dagnabit.
  14. I got a glock 22 that has never shot anybodys ass off. (Somebody had to do it).
  15. and here I am trying to buy another mag for my 597.
  16. Dang, he must have triple loaded it.
  17. Ok, so you go into a resturant, look around for a "no guns" sign and never see one, you are told they are posted, but never see a sign. Finally after spending 5 min. in the "foyer" of said resturant I find a sign, not legal by any means, and it's so far out of the "visable entrance area" would you think "it's there for the sheeple"?
  18. Count me as one of the very sastified. Joe rocks:D I was actually not gonna get into this post but I have to relate a story about my son and Joe 2 HG: I purchased a new S&W40C from Joe and my son who had been toying around with upgrading to the 40c asked Joe what he would do in a trade. Joe about blew me over when he told him how much difference he wanted. Let's just say that (not posting pricing but it was a heck of a deal) Joe not only treated my son right, I think he might have actually taken a hit on the deal. I would buy ALL my guns a HG if I could get over that way more often, as it is I can't get over that way as much as I like. Now on the "haggling" crap. I don't haggle, I see no need, if the price is too high I don't mess with it. Now I have asked "how much out the door" on a bunch of occasions only to get a "discount" from the gun dealer. It's not that I expect it and for the most part have already made up my mind before asking the question, just wanted to know how much with tax and all.
  19.:confused: Got to ask. Who said anything about a 357 sig? Just for the record a S&W 66 is a revolver,

    My First M&P

if 40 is not your thing, I got a 9mm M&P that I could swap around on.
  21. I've seen pictures of the gun in question, I'd jump on it in a second.
  22. On on this board right now for 450.00. I agree on price for the most part, I was just quoting "book" values as a starting point.
  23. Is it a straight 66 or a 66-3? Stainless or blued? What kind of condition is the 66 in? How much is the person asking for it in cash? and how much are you valueing your Glock at? As for me? I'd trade if the 66 is stainless and in good shape. You can always get another G19 but the 66's are getting a little scarce in my neck of the woods. Oops, just checked my book and if it's a66 it's stainless. Book shows at 100% it's right at 390. For 90% it drops to 180. Take those prices with a grain of salt though.
  24. Don't give a rats rear about what my inlaws or the rest of my family think. All my inlaws used to be able to do is "ask me to leave" (nothing would have made me happier). But I no longer grace them with my presence. As for as my family, my brother is not as bad as me but almost, the rest of the family don't really care what I do, no more than I get to see them I could walk in carrying a machine gun and I don't think anyone would notice.
  25. I got the same safe except mine is 72" instead of 60 and mine is about 1250 lbs empty. So yours is at least 900 to 1000. You need more hand guns.
