  1. If a person could tell you are gay while you are riding a bicycle down the street, you might want to rethink your wardrobe.
  2. Thanks for letting us know, Erik. I hope it all goes well for you. It will certainly be an adventure. I like Orlando. You aren't working for Disney, are you? If so, can you get me some tickets?
  3. Antlers and Feathers, Lafayette, TN Gamaliel Shooting Supply, Gamaliel, KY Cheek's Trading Post, Scottsville, KY
  4. Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered three sets. I love that show. That's a great price, and they'll make perfect Christmas gifts.
  5. My wife works from home. She used to be really outgoing, but working from home has turned her into quite the intravert. I've never been very social, yet I'm out among people all day every day. Weird, huh? Glad to hear your new job is working out, David. Life's too short to do something you hate every day.
  6. If you aren't comfortable carrying your handgun with one in the chamber, it's time to go shopping for one you'd be comfortable with.
  7. Sounds good, but after reading further and conidering the inital investment, I think I'll just stick with my corn cobs and car polish. If I didn't already have a tumbler, however, I'd give the one you got a long, hard look.
  8. Let's see some pics!!!
  9. I love my GSG! It has a good trigger, is fairly accurate, and is less expensive than most conversion kits. I've shot several hundred rounds through it now with no problems, and I haven't took it apart and cleaned it yet. For the money, I don't see how you'd beat one.
  10. I'm sure I lnow which guy you are referring to. I know he's been there for 30 years, and he's asked about nearly every gun I've ever brought into the show. I now refrain from slowing down; let alone looking at his table. When he starts to ask about a gun I'm carrying, I don't slow down and quickly say "NOT FOR SALE!"
  11. Not the quality of the previous pictures, but I'm kind of partial to this one for some reason. Taken with a Canon EOS Rebel.
  12. I think I paid $20 for the last one I bought...ant it works. They are very low quality. Better hang on to your Taurus. I'll bet if you look closely, it won't be a 38 Special either. A box of shells will be worth considerably more than the gun.
  13. Thanks, Travis. I will call you, but it may be a few days.
  14. Nothing. He bought it from a website, and we got it out and charged the battery put it in, and nothing happened. With an electrical tester, I could determine that the trigger worked, the battery had a charge, and the fuse was good. I assume the motor's bad?
  15. Used Citori?
  16. Keep the Glock and buy revolvers. A man can't have too many guns! Besides, you may find youself in a situation one day where you need to loan a gun to someone, or else throw one in the river. You'll be glad you kept the Glock!
  17. Thanks.
  18. Is there anyone in Middle Tennessee who works on airsoft rifles? My son has one ant it doesn't work.
  19. What's an AR lower?
  20. You've gotta shoot it!!!
  21. Cool! I've been meaning to get some kydex to play with, but so far it hasn't happened.
  22. I thought my wife and I were the only people who despised the public in general. I can't stand to go anywhere there's a crowd. It seems that either people are becomming ruder and ruder or else I'm just becomming less tolerant of bad behavior. When I'm staring at the idiot in the theater talking on a cell phone, or the moron who won't shut up and take his hat off while the national anthem is being sung, I think maybe I shouldn't be carrying a gun.
  23. Prayers and positive thoughts sent your way.
  24. I suppose a judicious lawyer could bring up just about anything in court, but I wouldn't sweat it too much. My wife and I took the shooting portion of the course with a 22. If it makes you feel better, go ahead and shoot the 45. No harm in that. What are you going to do if you decide to trade it for a .40 or 9mm in the future? You'd be in the same boat. I am pretty sure there are no laws on the books in Tennessee that address this issue. If you're worried about accuracy, you could have passed the test I took with a slingshot! I think we fired somewhere around 100 rounds? Not really a cost prohibitive deal either way.
