  1. That's an interesting point you make there I haven't thought much about more than one at a time I need to do some research case study I guess because I've got a good compact 9 mm but I normally carry five rounds in the revolver I guess I just need to see court rulings court cases etc try to formulate some sort of opinion for myself
  2. Prefer to trade this stuff for 308 Winchester ammo maybe 9 mm in a comparable value amount Brand new unopened box of Hornady 21 rounds of lake City military and a laser bore sight Won't separate like to get rid of it all at once Or cash only $150 obo located in Springfield Tennessee It must be purchased here
  3. Nice was some guy on my tac 14 sale talking about being in Chattanooga maybe there's a sale for you there
  4. So I've got my A7 S in 243 now Looking forward to taking it to the range soon to see where it's at supposed to be zeroed at 100 yd so hopefully it is or at least it's close
  5. Yeah at this price you'd have to come here delivery would be quite a bit extra
  6. I've had some people ask me about types of firearms to use for concealed carry what to get started with etc Mind you if you think someone's going to kill you a lot of this stuff after the fact won't mean much at the time but it sure is good to have a game plan something to go over in your head if it ever happens what to say what not to say if and when the police arrive I would say a good concealed safety course or something similar to it even if you were not going to get a concealed carry license would sure be an eye opener to many people I generally carry a five round revolver people will ask do you feel safe with five rounds and of course they would rather carry a 15 round 9 mm and maybe one or two extra magazines My reasoning is I truly attempt not to get into a situation where I think I would need 45 rounds to get out of it and I have no idea what it's like to defend that in court unloading one or two full magazines vs say five rounds at 357
  7. That's some extremely important information that most people have no idea what constitutes legal use of deadly force My son's friend wanted to learn how to ride a motorcycle about 10 years ago he comes to me because I ride motorcycles and I've known him forever would I help him find a motorcycle and show him how to ride told him I would show him how to find a good motorcycle and help him do it but only if he would take the motorcycle safety course because I knew they were things they were going to show him that I may have known but didn't think about telling him
  8. That's hopefully the idea and then move my 10-year-old into that caliber He's getting pretty handy with a 22 LR lever rifle but he's always worried about recoil when I hand him something to shoot at the range I've never put anything in his hands to make him afraid so I don't know what is worry is but regardless soft shooters only for him at this point
  9. So I got the opportunity to pick up a Sako a7 s in 243 For the general area we live in I'm wondering what the consensus is on ammo availability and is the 243 a good general round and your experience with it
  10. This is some information I have been looking for I'm glad to have found it here in the TGO
  11. Nice I've looked at those before how do you like it
