My tinfoil hat wearing opinion over all is YES WE ARE! They want to eventually push "US" (the right leaning people) into doing or supporting something they can scream about as domestic terrorism and make several examples of and get us in line with what is coming. It is a push towards a One World Government, whether they know it or not.  I have long thought that the final battle that the Bible talks about is Israel vs Islam, just not sure who will side with Israel.

There is a thread else where regarding this stage. I just wondered how the SSR/ESR shooters handled this stage. Mostly where did you put your extra loaders since you couldn't use pouches and there wasn't any concealment allowed.

  I'm in that camp. I think the Constitution should have re-written to include the safeguards that are commonly called the Bill of Rights. 

I just want to say that TGO is an amazing place on the internet. If I had posted this thread ANYWHERE else, it would be locked by now and there would be 3 bans and 10 time outs. Everyone here should be thankful we have a place to discuss such topics in a civil nature.

  I feel that it is a RIGHT that we have allowed the government (city, county, state, federal) to turn into a Privilege, much like voting. I never understood why being guilty of a felon in and of itself means you not longer have a say in how things are ran. 

  But the Founding Fathers didn't call it a Natural Right, they called it a GOD GIVEN right.

I see a lot of Atheists on message boards wanting to claim their GOD given right to self defense. It stuck me in the shower (where I do all my good thinking) that if your wanting to claim a right endowed by your Creator that you probably should believe in said Creator to get that right. Maybe they just go with the whole 14th Amendment Citizen idea.    It's a good academic exercise to think about isn't it. Where do our rights come from and what is required to claim them. 

I honestly think if we have to submit to testing and training and a background check, then we should be able to carry anywhere off duty LEOs can.

  It hasn't effected the prices, just the demand. 

Some random comment on said the more to the story was he was a known druggie and cops had known he had hidden drugs in his butt before, ect ect ect but didn't provide a link or anything to back up his claims of "the police are always right no matter what".

You all know that 90% of "Real Americans" support everything Obama does.........and the administration don't work for those who disagree with them.

In TN you can carry in places of worship.

You can get a nice 308 semi (LaRue/Knight) for around the 3k mark.  I don't see this getting much traction in the firearms community.

I watched it just now. Too much "happy endings" at the end.  If someone had a knife on my dad they wouldn't get any "hey drop the knife".  What I took away from it was city folks are hosed.

Seriously if they are like the ones used on Dog the Bounty Hunter, they have a lot of downsides vs the straight on spray in the face.
