It's funny how most politicians aren't millionaires when they go to Washington but they are when they leave. What a bunch of crooks.  It must be nice to enact laws that apply to all Americans but exempt yourself.

Here is the problem with this so called bill. Toomey and Mansion bill. Both of these phony Conservatives think they need to "compromise" with the gun grabbing liberals. Chuck Schumer, the most anti-gun anti 2nd amendment progressive on the left wrote the bill. He is bought and paid for by Bloomberg. Toomey won't even be seen on stage with Schumer in fear his base won't approve. Both of them are posturing with both parties in their districts  hoping not to offend them in hopes they get re-elected.It has nothing to do with safety or "protecting the children". These politicians must be told that they work for us. The Constitution which includes the bill of rights is not up for compromise and shall be protected  at all costs.   And another fact is, the bill isn't even written yet, these politicians are going to vote on a bill then write it.after the fact. Just like "Obamacare' remember  Pelosi's famous quote "we have to vote on it to see what is in it:  This bunch of incompetent idiots have got to go before we don;t have an America we even recognize. :usa:

What the heck is wrong with Corker and Alexander? I think they have been in Washington way too long. They have been corrupted by the so called ruling class. Time to retire them both.  I met Corker at the out door museum near Knoxville when he was first running. There was something sneaky about him. I couldn't put my finger on it. Now it makes sense.  :stunned:

GUN TEST Today I swung my front door wide open and placed my Stevens 320 right in the doorway.  I placed 6 shells beside it, and noticing that it had no legs, set it on my mom's oldwheelchair to help it get around. I then left it alone and went about my business.  While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, the neighbor boy across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked her dog down the street, and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign right in front of our house. After a a couple of hours, I checked on the gun.  It was still sitting there in the wheelchair, right where I had left it.  It hadn't rolled itself outside.  It certainly hadn't killed anyone, even with the numerous opportunities it had been presented to do so.  In fact, it hadn't even loaded itself.  Well you can imagine my surprise, with all the media hype about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people. Either the media is wrong, and it's the misuse of guns by PEOPLE that kills people, or I'm in possession of the laziest gun in the world. Alright, well I'm off to check on my spoons. I hear they're making people fat.

You are right. I read one of the original news releases and it stated that the "Bushmaster was left in the car" He used hand guns that he concealed when he entered the school. The question I have is who changed the story and facts that were first issued? Obama's media? Bloomberg news and talking points? The propaganda is frightening.
