  1. My guess is they had to toss that scene in at the last minute to replace 4 more minutes of creepy joker awesomeness when Heath Ledger offed himself.
  2. That is Curry indeed, he's a wizard with protools.
  3. So surely you've noticed that the opinion you just shared is not a popular one on this forum. Care to give any reasons, or are you just gonna toss it out there and run for cover?
  4. +1 for the ABC's of reloading. It will tell you everything you need to know to get started. The Hornady manual has a good section in the beginning about how to reload as well.
  5. A buddy of mine just got back from Israel. Apparently they think it's hilarious that anyone would even think about voting for him.
  6. This actually makes me a little sick. He didn't salute the flag, but everyone forgets things sometimes. He didn't wear a lapel pin, but it's just a little pin, what does it matter. ...how is my liberal friend going to explain this one?
  7. You had me at greasy.
  8. I'll have to get the burger at Topp's sometime, thanks for the tip.
  9. So I reallyyy want a burger now.
  10. That's very interesting. From what I read on their site and you have said it seems like a reserve officer would meet the requirements to be included in H.R. 218, which allows leo's to carry nationwide. Can anyone confirm this?
  11. How does one do this?
  12. +1 on Huey's having the best burger in Memphis. As far as the state, I think the best burger I've had in a while was in Kenton (home of the white squirrels) at a place called Scott's.
  13. He's his generation's Nicholas Cage.
  14. Damn skippy!
  15. I didn't say I would slam the door shut on their faces. They could explain the reason for their visit to me, and I would gladly set them straight.
  16. I wouldn't have let them in the house in that situation.
  17. We'll forgive you this time.
  18. You sure sounded like finishing lunch was the point earlier. And fwiw, if the property owner had not called the police, I would agree with you, but I don't see what refusing to work with the officer could possibly accomplish. Sure, you have a leg to stand on with the cop, but the property owner would knock that right out from under you. In this situation I see your choices as: A) step outside, show cop your license, come back inside, finish your lunch, and show that nosy bitch that you have as much right to eat here as she does, gun and all, or refuse to step outside, be asked to leave, leave, have lunch ruined, show that nosy bitch that if someone has a gun and she doesn't like it she can get them thrown out of a restaurant. Is there an option I'm missing?
  19. That's not the point. The point is the police officer was there at the behest of the property owner, and that's a pretty strong signal of where the owner stood on the issue. I would bet a large sum of money that if you had refused to obey the officer then you would be asked to leave by the owner, probably never to return. I'm sure you'd be fine with that, as you wouldn't want to support a business that does not recognize your right to carry, but it sure would interrupt that lunch you were so dead set on finishing.
  20. Show the buyer the notice and explain the situation just as you did here.
  21. I'm a big fan of Frog Jump myself. /drunk Welcome to TGO!
  22. As of right now the second amendment only applies to the federal government. States can infringe on your right as much as they want to. I don't want to go into detail, but look up the concept of incorporation as it applies to constitutional law. Also, if the property owner called the cops, he had every right to make you go outside. If you had refused, the property owner would have had every right to throw you out under penalty of criminal trespass if you didn't leave. If the lady had called the cops it might be different, but if the property owner called the cops then you wouldn't really have a leg to stand on. There will always have to be a balance of "rights" when they overlap. In this case I do not think your right to bear arms should trump the property owner's right to ask you to leave.
  23. I highly recommend any course given by Rangemaster.
