  1. 10/22s suck. Get a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 if you're going the .22 route. I've never been so bored at the range as I was when I had my 10/22.
  2. This is a little over budget, maybe throw in the last $85. Mossberg M590A1 12 Guage Tactical Shotgun w/ Bayonet and Scabbard
  3. Nice, those uppers are a great deal. Post up a range report!
  4. Yeah, you're right about that. I have my AK-74 with iron sights out for home defense ranges. You're supposed to be able to use the ACOG with both eyes open for close quarters stuff but I haven't really practiced that.
  5. Tiramisu from Buca di Beppo (lots of rum!) My grandma's banana pudding.
  6. I've used a couple of EOtechs but I prefer the simple red dot in an Aimpoint. I can highly recommend an ACOG too. I've got a TA31f, love it!
  7. Here's a pic of mine if you need some encouragement.
  8. I've got one, I had a couple of failure to ejects with PMC ammo. It has ran fine with Winchester FMJ and Hornady/Speer hollow points.
  9. Manchester, TN off 16h Model Rd. I24 exit 105, head towards Manchester, turn right on 16th Model Rd. There is a sign, I think it's about 1.5 miles down the road.
  10. According to this site, Glock > 1911.
  11. Suppressed 1911 in .45 ACP.
  12. Damn, too bad they don't make those for my old Chevy.
  13. I have one, it is awesome. The only thing that could make it more awesome would be a suppressor. I've got a Magpul ACS stock and MOE pistol grip on mine.
  14. Some people deserve to be punched in the nose, cop or not. It is very unfortunate that he died from that, both for the guy that punched him and the family of the officer. I don't know that he should be tried for murder, though.
  15. Yeah, I'd carry one cocked and locked if it didn't have a grip safety. I would never lower the hammer on a live round though, no matter if it has a grip safety or not. I've been carrying my Glock for a couple of years now and I've had it for almost 6 years always loaded, haven't shot myself yet.
  16. Get a rifle for the farm.
  17. Shoulder holsters are great for muzzle sweeping everyone while you draw. I'll stick to strong side IWB and OWB holsters.
  18. Yeah, well the military was right.
  19. 9mm 1911? You ain't right boy. John Moses Browning is turning in his grave.
  20. I hear differing stories about how well a compact 3" 1911 will run. I've been wanting one but the talk of poor reliability makes me nervous. I love my full size Springfield Mil-spec.
  21. You need to put them on a Beretta 92FS. And I'd rather have them checkered or something.
  22. Heck I've got no problem driving to Greenbrier, it just costs me several hundred dollars every time I do.
  23. I wouldn't call it a rumor: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/guns-leather/41019-guns-leather-official-were-opening-new-store-thread.html
  24. I have to find a new cool picture or make one of my own I reckon.
  25. I'm fine with it. Thanks Daniel.
