  1. We should do it in Kentucky instead.
  2. My Glock 23 is on my hip every day, I sure hope it's not useless.
  3. Disregard, didn't notice it was a .308.
  4. Nice rifles, looking forward to a range report!
  5. Gangbangers with Garands, now we're all screwed!
  6. It takes me about an hour to get there. Well worth it for not having to wait and not having to go through the check shed at Stones River. Its much easier to unload three rifles and my range bag when I can pull up directly behind the firing line.
  7. I usually go to Montgomery County Shooting Complex . Less busy than Stones River and more or less the same amount of travel time from Bellevue.
  8. Fat Tire
  9. I guess I should learn to read better. Kramer makes OWB holsters too.

    1911 mag capacity

I load all mags to full capacity (including my Glock). I've never had a problem with 47d magazines in my Springfield Mil-spec.
  11. I got nothing on that. I hit an empty acetylene tank at about 75 yards with my Springfield 1911 and XD(m) 9mm.
  12. Varallo's is pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it but I work downtown. It's good comfort food on a cold winter day.
  13. I wouldn't have a problem with it being there as long as I had a small safe in my bedroom closet for my AR and a handgun or two.
  14. I've fired both, I own the TCP. I don't see a huge difference between the two besides the fact that the TCP locks back on the last round.
  15. Software isn't going to work if the BIOS doesn't recognize it. If it doesn't spin up at all there's probably not a lot that can be done. This is the reason why my two 1TB drives are in a mirrored array, if I lose one I still have all of my data.
  16. No problem. I might head out there tomorrow so if I hear some ungodly noise on the firing line I'll come over and say hello.
  17. You might call the Montgomery County TWRA Range and see if they will let you shoot it there. They've got a 400yd rifle range. They won't let people shoot .50 BMG out there but I don't know of any other restrictions.

    M1 Garand from CMP

When I went in November or December I took mine home with me.
  19. I don't own one in .308 yet, but I like the AR platform for ease of mounting optics as well as available accessories. Make mine a Larue OBR please!
  20. I had a 5.11 belt, it wore through to the kydex insert within a couple of months at the belt buckle and where my blackberry clips on. Piece of junk if you ask me.
  21. The Wilderness Instructor belt is awesome. Palmetto State Armory has them and at a good price. They're running a %10 off sale right now too.
  22. The .40 S&W got that nickname, although I've always heard short and weak, because it is a shortened 10mm cartridge. It seems the ladies and girlie men at the FBI didn't like the recoil generated by the 10mm round, so a reduced recoil load was developed. The case length of the 10mm was no longer needed, so it was made smaller to fit the same frame as 9mm handguns. That's more or less the story, there's more accurate and detailed information out there if you care to google it.
  23. Well it's slow and weak compared to 10mm. I still carry a Glock 23 95% of the time though.

    S&W M&P9

    Where'd you get the holster?
