    SAA Clones

I have a 45lc Uberti Cattleman, and it's one of my favorite guns. I haven't done any CAS with it, but it sure is fun throwing that big old cowboy ammo down range. I have a Puma lever gun in the same caliber, and they both get attention when I have them out.
  3. +1 for the Crossbreed belts - I've had one for about four months, and wear it every day. It's very well made and supports any rig I use.
  4. Small show, but not too bad.. Lots of people selling knives.
  5. I would pay, tip, and leave quietly - giving no opportunity for the 'anti's' to use the incident against us.
  6. I keep mine in locked steel boxes in the closet...
  7. I have a PPS .40, but I'm in Nashville, so unless you're coming this way sometime..... I have to say that this gun isn't 'fun' to shoot - the slim profile makes it great to carry and easy to conceal, but also makes the snappy recoil of most .40 ammo really uncomfortable. It starts biting into the web of my hand after just a few shots. It's very accurate and has never had a FTF no matter what I feed it, but aside from taking it to the range once in a while to keep proficient with it, I tend to shoot something else.
  8. I spent a few hours at the show today, and agree that there were several vendors charging too much for their ammo. I don't mind them making a profit, but won't spend 25%-50% more than what I'll pay at Academy or even my local gun shop. I watched wistfully at the Shark Tac booth, and wished I'd brought along my new LCR - I'm having a hard time finding a holster that will cover the trigger..

    Ruger LCP .380

I've had mine for about three weeks, and have taken it to the range twice - probably 150 rounds. It has a kick, and wants to jump out of my hand when I shoot, so I'll probably look for some 'texture-tape' for the grip to make it easier to hang on to it. Other than that, it shoots great, and will work fine as a 'shorts & T-shirt' carry pistol when nothing else is concealable.
  10. Sorry - I wasn't paying close enough attention.. The SMYRNA TN Expo show is Aug 22/23.
  11. Sign on Murfreesboro Road in La Vergne says the Expo show is Aug 22/23...?
