  1. Cool! Good for you making the Wally Walk together!
  2. Any good?
  3. Glock 26 in Bianchi Carry-Lok holster or Ruger LCR in Versa Clip (Great holster!) IWB. P238 in pocket or ankle holster. Knife and cell phone.
  4. Nice! I have one, and although I haven't put huge amounts of ammo through it yet (probably 200 rounds) mine has been flawless. Lately I've been able to find some ammo occasionally - being unemployed means you can hit Wal-Mart early and often. Sure feels good to find a box or two for $16 once in a while.
  5. Thanks. I'm not a member of RCBA - what's that?
  6. Me too - about 10 years ago. It's like tying your own trout flies, then catching a fish with them.. It feels great to shoot with something you put together and finished.
  7. This is what I carry - I made the cocobolo handle and the sheath. It is wicked sharp - it cost me an emergency room visit, twenty-some stitches, and partial use of three fingers to make the scales...
  8. I think you did the right thing - IF the jerks would have started shooting or jumped out of the vehicle you would have been able to respond that much faster. I also agree with calling PD and letting the officer know you drew your weapon (legally, and on your own property). If the bg's hit someone as they raced away they would say it wasn't their fault because they were running from a guy with a gun. You reporting the incident immediately removes that argument. You should feel good about taking appropriate measures, without losing your cool.
  9. I have a PM45 and a PPS in .40 - I like the Kahr much better. Both are accurate and well-made, but the Kahr feels better in my hand.
  10. I have and like the Ruger LCR - it's light and easy to carry/conceal, and has a great, smooth trigger. Whichever you buy, I really recommend this holster for it: VersaClip - Custom Carry Concepts,LLC I was having a hard time finding a holster for my LCR until I spotted this. It fits great, and it makes the gun disappear IWB. Best $20 I've spent on a holster.
  11. Geez, that's pretty! I love the Springfields.
  12. I have both a G26 and a Sig P238 - like them both, but would definitely not trade the Glock for the Sig.
  13. Oooooooh - You're good!
  14. I'd like to hear how these work for you after you try them out.. Looks like a pretty good buy if they work well.
  15. I did mine with a band saw - came out even and smooth. If you don't find someone with a Dremel to use, you can pick one up at Harbor Freight or a discount tool place for not much. Too bad you're not closer.
  16. Congratulations - it will be worth the wait.
  17. When I took the class for my permit the instructor gave what I thought was good advice - let the officer know up front that you have a permit and are carrying.
  18. I have a stainless loaded Springfield, and it's by far my favorite gun. It feels great, shoots any ammo well, and is just darn nice looking.
  19. That hurts just thinking about it.
  20. Hmmmmm.. The .38 looks pretty nice too.
  21. Obama is praised for being a great speaker - I'd like to see him give a speech with only what he can write on his palm.
  22. Good for you - congratulations! Remember, you can't open it and drool on it until tomorrow, right?
  23. I'm planning to go - I found a couple of good deals at the last one there. I'll wear my TGO hat.
  24. Any pics of the .38?
  25. JPS

    What about a P-238

I bought mine at Academy too - great little gun, with absolutely no problems (other than the cost of the ammo.....!).
