  1. Yea, I got mine done on the 12th and I have nit ever checked the mail this much.
  2. Yea, 46 days for me. I was looking at this post and it started on the 9th which was a Friday and I submitted on the 12th, the following Monday. I am hoping mine will be here within a couple days!!
  3. I had a problem with one at my house. Have a pretty good size garden I didn't want to share with him. I was home and watching for him to come out yesterday morning to sun bath and the .243 did the rest. Offered to gut him for the wife to cook, but she didn't like the idea.
  4. Yea, it happened to me last Sat. My partner and I parked started walking in, we were a little late, and there she stood not 50 yards from the truck. Took the shot and walked on over to a group of trees and across the field stood probably six more. We took two does and a nice big bodied buck, ugly messed up rack though. Took longer to field dress and take to the processor than to hunt. Of course I have spent enough cold empty handed mornings that I didn't feel bad at all about it.
  5. The only one I have tried is the SuperTuck and I am VERY impressed with how comfortable it is. I also ordered it with the velcro clips, but haven't tried them yet. After wearing my 1911 4" in a Brommland IWB, and then trying the SuperTuck, the ST is soooo much more comfy. I ordered one for my XD, and my LCR. Great customer service also. If you don't like it you can send it back within 2weeks for a refund! No I don't work for them and I can't compare, but I am pleased with the ST.
  6. Yea, guess I forgot to mention I am 4 weeks today since submitting my app and getting figerprinted. I thought this would be a nice and polite way of checking on the status. Guess I will continue to wait,,,,, I should have done this years ago anyway!!
  7. I tried this approach. It didn't work so well for me though, this is what I recieved; "Please allow ninety (90) days for your permit to be issued. Thanks" I asked very nicely and give her all my info along with my DL number. Should I call anyway???? Thanks for all the good read guys,,, and gals!!

CDPII? What size do you currently have? Yes it is a CDPII. The pro is the 4" model.

    Kimber or SA?

You guys are giving me buyers remorse. I guess I wil have to run it a little longer and try something different. Oh yea,, don't forget that Hero Gear has some super sweet guns they offer. You can set it up, and color how you want. I should have went ahead and paid down on it rather than buying the Kimber????? Let us know what you end up with!

    Kimber or SA?

Although I don't have experience with the SA, I do have a Kimber Pro CDP. I was a little nervous about some of the things I had read. I can say that mine has been without a flaw. I have put about 300 rounds of any thing I could find through it, including JHP. So far I have not had a hiccup. My only problem is now I want a 3" model. Maybe I will get a SA to compare to.
  11. Well, I just bought a Pro CDPII with several extras including springs, Crimson Trace grips, guide rod, Galco holster and a few other small parts. I think I got a good deal on it at $1150.00 shipped and insured. It had about 100 rounds through it and looked like new. Don't know if it will help you, but that's my story. By the way I was torn between the Pro and Ultra. I may have had yours if this had been a few weeks ago. Best of luck to you.
  12. They had some of the Remington 9mm today, but the value packs were gone. Guess somebody picked them up because I was in there and saw them Tuesday. I went back today looking for something else and walaa, they had some new stock in. Picked up a few boxes of 45acp in the white box for 32.97 per 100. I did get the last of the 45 but they had some JHP's left in Remington and Winchester. They had a good bit of 40cal. One box of 100 count of 357. Anyway good shopping,,,,,,
  13. I appreciate the fact you are willing to share. I know it makes me more aware. God bless
