  1. Good luck and remember, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
  2. I've often thought that If they sent me less request for money, they might need less.....

Nice. I kinda figure the Sigma is history with this thing out. Held on in Franklin last week and it felt nice. Trigger similar to the M&P, not quite as smooth but could be with some break in I'm surmising. Congrats on the new toy.
  4. Scary:eek: , I'd take the time to send it back for sure.
  5. Right on raydog! I do not like Reid one bit but we're kidding ourselves if we think there is another organization as powerful as the NRA that will support our fight. Politics suck, period. The NRA is a political lobby and they are doing their job. After all, if they were just a conservative lobby, what pull would they have had over the last 4 years in a democratically controlled Congress?

Very Nice. Yes, G&L Rocks . It's always a pleasure to deal with the any one of the Williams Family, Lonnie, Andrew and the gang.
  7. Have bought several guns on line from Buds. Now, I prefer to buy locally and have been paying slightly more than Buds price when considering Insurance and the $15 transfer I'd been paying. This includes TN sales Tax. +1 for Goodlettsville Gun Shop (Glockmeister) who alwasy quotes Out the Door Price as well as Guns and Leather in Greenbrier. If you want a gun now and want to handle what your buying as well have some sort of support just in case, buy local.
  8. Sounds like a decent deal to me, especially if it is what you've been looking for. Kind of like OS's half serious remark though, I'd certainly fire a bunch through it if you have not already done so, just to be sure. I'm a little funny when it comes to self defense ammo though. Can't get it out of my head the manner it which I might have to use it, as a last resort. I try to fire at least the round that has been chambered in my EDC when going to the range with the theory that I replace all the rounds in the mag every year or so, but that's just me.
  9. Using an iPhone. Daughter and Wife talked me into getting one two years ago and must say, I'm hooked. Although AT&T SUX in my opinion, the phone is the bomb.
  10. I did the same thing, just in case. They had me place the card on top of the locked case. Don't know what gould that did as by the time I got to Fla. it had shifted to the bottom of my bag
  11. So far it's Ramsey however I will keep an open mind.
  12. +1. Pretty sure that is their SOP. Never had one they didn't use a bore light and mirror on, never. Ever looked around at the baffles, partitions and ceiling??? I also understand the one target per frame rule even though I personally do not like it.
  13. AFAIK, once you turn over your luggage to the TSA Screener, you may not handle the luggage again unless directed by a TSA agent. At that point it must be re X-rayed/inspected. I guess I'd been in a pickle then.... Neither the SWA or TSA agents ever asked me if it was separate but only if the firearm was unloaded and ammunition was "properly packed". They did not ask for the key to my hard sided case nor even opened my bag to inspect it. My ammunition was packed in the box it came in when I purchased it and packed right next to the locked hard sided case.
  14. I guess I should elaborate, was only in Chicago for a layover. Was on my way to South Florida via Chicago. Go figure. PS- Bag made it fine with my little LCP which is currently locked in the room safe. Now enjoying some really old Scotch
  15. On plane in Chicago, just saw bag being loaded. Hey mayor Daily, I got a gun in Chicago
  16. Got checked in with no problems. Went to stand in the self check in line and was standing next to the Attendant who is instructing the "heard" on checking in so I mentioned that I had something in my lugage I needed to declare. She promptly said all firearms in checked baggage must check in through the full service line and opened the croud control divider. Once I got to the desk, I answered questions regarding weapon being unloaded and in locked container and ammo being properley packed. Stood there until the bag cleared the Xray machine and was loaded on the belt at which time the TSA gal waved with a smile and said no problems. Easy as pie
  17. I've only shown it to LEO's when pulled over, and maybe a curious friend or two.
  18. So do they ever ask to unlock the case and inspect the firearm?
  19. Yeah, every time I've been to the Keys I drank waay more than I should have, but had a blast. Key West and alcohol really are synonymous . Leave your pistol in the car/room. Many have safes nowadays.
  20. Dude, you get points just for flying a gun to Chicago
  21. Only if it's Quick......
  22. I'm heading to Florida with the wife to celebrate 20 years of her putting up with my crap and plan on bringing a gun for self defense. I have read Southwest Airlines regulations here Southwest Airlines Travel Policies - Guns and Ammunition but wanted to know: A. Anyone have any experience/tips doing this? B. Will they laugh at me if I pack my little LCP? Come on, it's the perfect lightweight "beach gun"
  23. Yee Haw. Can I go to O'Charlies now
