  1. Looks to me as if he has already started......notice the indexing?
  2. I'm with the OP 100% on this one, especially the last sentence. So far I am 0 for 5 on getting cited since I've had my permit. I've been pulled over once for expired tags, once for rolling through a stop sign and 3 times for speeding (OK, I have a bit of a lead foot ). I always hand them my HCP, DL, Insurance Card and Registration as well as turn on dome light if it is dark and roll down the back window since it's tinted, even when it was frigid out. I never come right out and say I'm armed since I handed them my permit but answer yes when asked which was over half of the times I was stopped. Call it what you want but I've got to believe it is my show of respect, polite attitude, and possibly even the fact that I have a permit that has at least contributed to the LEO letting me go each time. When pulled over for the 3 month expired tags, the officer even joked that he had one of those too referring to my permit. Time before last I just knew I was going to get cited as the guy came across as a real jerk. I kept my cool and when he came back to the car, he let me go with just a wise crack about slowing my ass down. I have yet to be disarmed.
  3. I figured as I've heard quite a few complaints about the Millieniums.
  4. Which model if you don't mind me asking?
  5. Another +1. Most comfortable Holster I've got. Conceals well and I can even where an M&P 45 with a tucked in shirt. Mine is the "Slide" version however wish I had the standard as I do not have another M&P with a longer barrel. This one allows the lint to get into the barrel.
  6. Me neither and haven't since I was 16. WTF?
  7. Hopefully, their fear will breed the kind of CHANGE we really need.
  8. Guess it's time to upgrade. I'm out of memory on my 8GB anyway.
  9. Longer is better.........

    What if.....?

I'd say no, unless of course they were an imminent threat to you or your family........
  11. Looks like something Quick might carry onto a playground or something.
  12. A little place in West Yellowstone Montana I spent the night in back in December. It got down to -29 degrees Fahrenheit that night. A friend wrote a little tale of our escapades that began with the caption below.
  13. Nice! John VanZyck at VZ is a stand up guy and makes an excellent product. Get us a picture with them on!
  14. I've also got the Combo Kit with both barrels, red dot scope and the laser which wasn't part of the original kit but was added to sweeten the deal. I have only had the 3" barrel on a couple of times and although believe it was "less" accurate for me than the 5", it wasn't by much and it was only at 10 yards or more shooting spinning targets that I even noticed. As far as the laser goes, it's cool but as LCPTN pointed out pretty useless in the sunlight. I even took it to the Stone River range once and could barely see at at the the 25 ft station. Years ago I'd carry my P22 with me when the wife and I went for a walk. I'd put the laser on to keep the dog going in the right direction....
  15. I'm with you on this. I have seen the positive of the Sex Offenders Registry first hand. Simply put, you know who is around you and who to keep an eye on, especially for those of us with kids. On the other hand, after seeing some of the people and their charges on there, you can see that there are a few that quite frankly don't belong.
  16. The perfect match for McCready.
  17. I heard they will be over $3k
  18. I have never seen it in any store either. You can order form them directly at (800) 390-1535. I'd bet they'd even take a check if you didn't want to order through Olympic Arms Owners Association using a credit card.
  19. Then the paper ought to be yours... Seriously though, I got one as well and it does seem to be alright. At least they didn't use the HCP database to send something like the Communist Appeal.....
  20. I have an M&P 45 with the thumb safety. Bought it used and have considered removing it however it has not caused a problem so I haven't yet. I rarely engage it and then only when un-holstering. I never carry with it engaged nor have a found to engage itself.
  21. Very nice blog PapaB
  22. Had one for a year or so now and have put 100 or so rounds through it with no problems whatsoever. The sights do suck but obviously, it's not made for the range. I very seldom carry it except when I'm wearing shorts walking with the wife or occasionally to church. The little squirt does have some kick to it.
  23. Man, you guys be hate'n............... I'm not saying that I'd order a set but those on the upper left look pretty Good to me. I would be concerned about having to use the Torx wrench to tighten them up and also the possibility of stripping them out.
