Controlling health care costs is about controlling the citizens, nothing more. They could care less about costs, real or perceived. The selling point is the evil insurance companies. I think government can be much more evil.

If you have a chance to try a P220, you should. It's a wonderful handgun and it is extremely accurate. I have had one for years and love it. I also have a 226, 229, and a 239 in .357 Sig. The 239 is a hand cannon.

I'm sad for my children. They have to be exposed to vile immorality and have other citizens tell them they have to accept it without judgement. I hope to raise them differently.

I would use it in my suppressor, but not for general carry. The 9mm round needs velocity to open a JHP, and a subsonic round will not open the bullet the same. The 9mm Black Talon did not perform well. You should search for a +p JHP because the length of your barrel will affect the velocity and performance of the round.

If you were free, you could do what you postulated. You would also find yourself out of business due to a lack of employees. Freedom also extends to the workers, and they are free to quit and find another job, quit and start their own business, or comply. Regulation begats regulation. And it eventually leads to domination.

If you are truly free, you are free to associate, hire, worship, fire, and communicate with whomever you want. The is the purest definition of freedom. There is not a government telling you how to live your life.

We should also consider our personal liberty. We have the freedom to associate or disassociate based on our own desires. If we do not want to be around a certain race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion, we should not have to. If I start a Hooters, and a 67 year old fat lady comes in and wants to be a waitress, I should have the freedom to not hire her based on her age and fatness. If I am running an oil rig and a transvestite applies to work on the rig, I should be able to decline the application based solely on it's being a transgender. The political correctness in this country is leading to the fragmentation of society, as is multi-culturalsim. This country is on a slippery slope.

I believe this legislation has also covered hate speech, which would prohibit a preacher from preaching biblical doctrine against homosexuality. If this passes, you could be arrested for what you say.

Can you guys quote the article or amendment to the U.S. Constitution that allows the federal government to get involved in a private sale? I think we need to take a step back from this background check nonsense and ask the government to take less of a role in our daily lives. No one seems to be bothered by the Constitution anymore. Government involvement in the the delivery of healthcare is clearly not Constitutional, but no one ever mentions it. -

Unfortunately, any talk of "tax-reform" will only lead to more tax dollars being demanded by either government or the non-contributors. The non-contributors are closing in on 50% of the working class and they will not vote for a reform plan that causes them to pay taxes. Once they hit 51%, look out . . . -

Disassemble that thing as quickly as possible. There is an ATF court case in Wisconsin where the ATF is going after a poor soul for possessing an AR-15 that doubled. The owner is going to jail even though it was a manufacturing defect that caused the doubling.

I saw an older model Viper in Franklin, but not the blue one. I think I saw Billy Ray driving a blue Ferrari F430 hardtop a couple weeks ago up Hwy 31.

. . . it finally showed up. POF model P-415, with 16" 1/8 barrel and gas piston operation. I'm interested in your comments, especially the unusual flash suppressor. It came with a front sight, but no rear sight, which I thought odd.
