  1. I have the .40 and love it. It is a handful though.

+1. Great looking gun. And if it's anything like my 686 it will be a fine shooter.
  3. Great looking rifle. Nice work!
  4. You guys be careful out there tomorrow. It's going to be the coldest we have seen all year.
  5. Six years away from being born.
  6. Congrats!
  7. You can just mount the rails on any of the slots in the handguard and then mount your light to the rail. If you want to put the light, AFG, and a sling mount on your rifle I would just get a set of aluminum four way rails instead of the MOE handguards. With the four way rails there is just less stuff to deal with and less stuff that could break. Pick you up a set of used Knights Armament rails and forget the plastic stuff.
  8. That is what I was thinking. Looks good though.
  9. The look on the guys face that is sitting beside her is priceless. He was thinking exaclty what we were.
  10. You can take it into GA. Suppressors and AOW's are exempt from having to file a 5320.20. Alot of LEO do not know this though. ATF will approve a 5320.20 if you send it in on a supprrssor, so it is usually not a bad idea to have one. But legally you don't have to.
  11. I've had the same thing happen to me at Gallatin Gun Club. Had turkeys walk out while I was shooting too.
  12. I have two guns that I carry all the time. I carry my Kahr during warm weather inside the pocket and carry my Glock during cold weather strong side hip.
  13. Congrats! He will remember that morning for the rest of his life.
  14. Thank you gentlemen. I am doing some more reading about it now.
  15. +1 to Jack's BBQ, Demo's, The Palm ($$$ but great food), and Arnolds.
  16. Ok can someone give me the run down of what happened? The cliff notes version will do.
  17. Those guns you are talking about are called outlaw guns. They probably all have sleeves in them as well as have had chamber work done to them. There are both kinds of shoots around where I live. At a stock gun shoot the people puttting in on run a guage down the barrel of everyones to make sure a sleeve hasnt been put in. This keeps it a little more fair.
  18. I bought my brother a RIA a few years ago for Christmas and he has never had a problem out of it. They are just a good, standard GI 1911.
  19. The Naked Gun movies are some of my all time favorites. RIP.
  20. AAC makes great stuff. A little high, but very good quality and great customer service.
  21. If you like beer go to the Flying Saucer. They have over 100 on tap. I don't think you gf can get in at night but am pretty sure she can during the day/afternoon. What kind of places to you want to eat? Meat and 3? BBQ? Steak? Seafood? Fancy type place?
  22. How does the ppsh-41 run?
  23. Dooley had two catches on the day. After the second one the announcer in the stadium said, "pass caught by Derek Dooley". It was great, everyone cracked up. The seniors deserve to play in a bowl. And it gives the young guys around 20 more practices, which is always a good thing.
  24. Nice work. I'm sure he will love it.
