I kind of pictured a different ending myself .............

G20 .......... Because it ROCKS! And the ability to handle multiple calibers including 9mm (well, so to speak). I have 2 of them, a 2nd and 3rd generation with stock barrels - along with these conversion barrels: 6" KKM-10mm Match, 5.15" LW-10mm Tactical, 4.6" KKM-357SIG, 4.6" LW-.40S&W and last, but by no means least, going to pick up a 6" LW-9x25 Dillon next.

The only time I hate reloading is when I run out of powder! I buy in bulk as much as possible as others have mentioned and change components when/where possible to shave off some $$ - but I don't look at the time investment - it's just a hobby that I love so the labor is free in my mind. Besides, I can do it a home and that's where I enjoy being if I'm not at the range.

Why do your do your own reloading?

Pulled this from another site ........ Contact Gun Parts Corporation they should be able to answer Pit Bull questions, they owned Auto Ordnance when it was made. Update: Numrich doesn't list parts for Auto Ordnance any more.

Same here ......... hated them when I first toyed around with buying one. Thought they were the ugliest thing around............ and who would want a gun made of plastic?? That was until I was forced to use one every day for duty (the G22) back in early 2000. After actually giving it an honest try, not to mention a couple thousand rounds at a range, I was hooked. After shooting and owning various Glocks, I was a true Glock convert and have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. As previously stated, they are extremely reliable, extremely easy to clean after a day at the range, most are easily convertible to other calibers and they hold up to all the abuse you can give them. My 2 cents is the same as above............ many more Glocks on the market due to sheer volume of sales............. along with the addiction factor of wanting something you don't have at the moment. Don't think for a moment that there are more Glocks on the market due to some type of manufacturing issue ......... or unhappy customers, because that's just not true. After leaving LE two years ago, I have since sold all of my Glocks and converted to SIG - but only because I made the mistake of actually trying one at the range and getting the bug. Now I prefer SIG ........... but you all know how this addiction works.

Love SIG, the SAS and the pics ............. Heres my first SAS - wish my 229R was an SAS as well .......... maybe some day.

Exactly what I was going to say ........... Ex multiple Glock owner myself - now converted to SIG and 1911 .......... I loved my Glocks for 15 years and really can't say a bad thing about them. Carried a G22/27/31/33 for quite some time and had zero issues. But, after owning a few SIGs, and most recently a few 1911s, I don't see myself going back - but you never know with this sickness!! For many years I never saw the point of spending over $600.00 on a new handgun - until I tried/purchased my first SIG. Now I prefer them over just about everything else. Never thought I'd say that. Nor did I ever think I would fancy a 1911 ............ My thinking was "why would I want such a beefy, heavy frame, with 1/2 the magazine capacity of my Glocks along with having to add another caliber to my collection (as I did not own anything in .45 ACP) when I have a nice, manageable, easy to clean, polymer frame with 9mm, .40 S&W and 357SIG capability after a simple barrel swap?" Well, I thought that until I tried a 1911 at a range. I fell in love right away, sold the rest of my Glocks, and now own two 1911s as well. Go figure! It's just a sickness man .......... with a little time and a few more guns I think you'll be alright. If I had more $$ I wouldn't have to sell one to get another ............. but some of us just aren't that fortunate. I'd take another Glock without hesitiation - I just prefer the other options at this time. I've done the same thing with rifles, shotguns, 22s and AR15s ......... bought, sold, traded ........ over and over. Come to think of it, I've just realized that I may need some help as well ............ "GULP"

I agree with the above posts ........... read, learn from others experiences and get the most you can out of reloading. Like the aforementioned posts, I also find it very enjoyable ......... from finding brass at ranges, tumbling/polishing, to building my own loads ......... very relaxing and there's nothing better than sending your own loads down range!

Congrats ............ I'm not too far behind you - should be soon -
You got that right .......... I just spent 9 hours with the Wife last Saturday as well. We took the TN Carry Class together and had a great time. She was a little nervous as this was her first class with strangers. She scored a 100 on the shooting test ........... I was very proud of her. Just waiting on her to figure out what she wants to carry .......... I'm keeping my mouth shut (which is hard for me) so that she can make a personal decision without my input/opinion. (I hope she picks the Ruger LCR 38SP +P)

A few picks of my son and a couple of buddies at the range a few days ago ........ just the 4 of us for a few hours ............ YES IT WAS COLD ....... but it was well worth it!!

My Armalaser that I ordered for a Ruger LCP finally arrived from the production factory in Florida. I installed it and roughly sighted it in within 10 minutes. I found it to be an excellent fit, came with excellent instructions for anyone slighly mechanically inclined to follow and overall fit and finish is well worth the cost. http://www.armalaser.com/Products-Ruger_LCP.html Here is a little run-down of what I found ............ a review of sorts. The unit mounted up tight and was easily adjustable for wind-age/elevation with (2) supplied Allen Wrenches (one spare). Armalaser sends two sets of screws - one set of Allen for light weekly use and one set of Phillips with lock washers for heavy daily use. Keep in mind that the only way to change batteries on these units is to take the shell apart via 3 small screws - which is very easy and can be done in just a few minutes with the proper tool (small Allen Wrench in this case). The unit looks good and does not really change the conceal-ability factor at all - in fact, I found it did exactly as advertised and actually aids in concealment. Activation of the laser is easily accomplished during natural trigger finger insertion into the trigger housing which is where a cut-out in the laser housing is found. The laser will turn off in approximately 8 seconds after not sensing the trigger finger up against the laser housing but a slight forward gesture of the trigger finger will immediately activate it again. I would imagine a thicker trigger finger than mine may keep the laser activated until removed entirely from the trigger housing. The LCP with installed Armalaser fits very well in the supplied Desantis holster that comes with the unit at this time. It easily slips into a pocket with zero witness marks to give the impression that a firearm is present. The Desantis pocket holster is open where the barrel meets the pocket - so in theory, you could easily fire this weapon holstered if needed. The only somewhat negative I could see at this point was having to dis-assemble the unit to replace the batteries - not a terrible thing, but it prohibits a "quick" change. The unit is very compact so I don't see that as even being an option in future revisions. This is in no way a deterrent to go out and purchase one of these fine little units - but more of a "need to know" so that the user is aware. All in all I am very impressed with this design. I would give this unit high marks as it installs in minutes, appears to be a rock solid mount, is easily adjustable for windage/elevation, can easily be activated by the trigger finger simply running over the trigger housing sensor along with having a micro switch under the housing that allows the user to turn the units power off if so desired (for instance if you wanted to carry in a jacket pocket and not give any warning or indication). The switch itself will not activate the laser when turned on - a finger sweep in the trigger guard is still required. If your looking for a laser and want to go with a non-contact activation - look no further. This really is a great little addition to the LCP.

I've also had many positive transactions with PK Firearms .......... excellent service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them based solely on my own experience. I've also owned 3 RRA ARs with excellent results .......... Predator Pursuit, Coyote and 458SOCOM. I can't comment on your upper selections as I've not owned one but you really can't go wrong. You'll hear good and bad opinions with just about everything AR related. And your right, the options are mind boggling! Everyone has their own opinion as well - which makes it even more difficult to know which one is "right" for you. I'm always asking opinions and looking things up ......... just take your time and ask lot's of questions .......... the only "dumb" question is the one you don't ask. There are many good quality brands at reasonable prices for the average Joe ......... and you can always UPGRADE. I'm not an avid shooter nor do I have a ton of AR experience, so I mainly stick with RRA and Bushmaster - but only because I have had good results so far.
