We have family in Australia. They vote every so often to separate themselves from England. Every year there are more people who support separation. The last time we talked about it Australia was at about 50/50. That was a few years ago. I do take great delight in watching them get into the wrong side of the car at least once every time they come to the US. They are very liberal. Kind of odd because Australia is socially set in the US 50s. The south is more open to "new" ideas. Women are expected to stay home kind of thing. Australians are quick to judge the US for civil rights and even quicker to forget the "Lost generation" of Aborigines.

Not necessarily

Unfortunately I think it's the only thing that will fix the problem. People will see it as the easiest option until they don't. They will then try the hard options, but lives will be lost and everyone will ask why we didn't do that from the start. The answer will be that we are all lazy and afraid.

The minimum I will drive is 100 miles a day and I've got 300k + out of 2 Fords. Dropped a valve in a Chevy in under 125k. Lots of Chevy engine replacement. We've had other guys have Ford rear ends go out in 30k. That's the biggest thing from Ford. We do tend to have 13k lb trucks that shouldn't be over 10k though. I've also had a Asto van, s10 blazer, and currently a Ford explorer (lost the transmission at 123k) . We starting using Toyota 4runners a few years ago. We will see how that goes.

The first thing is heavy round nose flat base holow points in the 112 gr range. I actually have some on the way for a guy now. You're not going to use 300 blackout powders. What you use is very dependent on the gun setup if you want a unmodified barrel and we really don't want to open up the gas port. We want to keep the gun normal for supersonic rounds. You need to tune the peak pressure to the gas port position. A suppressor is a must. One with back pressure helps.

I have always thought it was a good idea to reduce welfare for the people that can work, but choose not to. It would need to be done over a period of time. With the money saved, open trade schools in the area and teach anything from welding to computer science. Hopefully you could get volunteers from the area to help out. It would be much easier in the inner cities. I'm not sure how it would go in the rural areas of the US. That's were the vast majority of welfare recipients live. Travel could be an issue. A buddy worked with Minddrive. He wouldn’t take at risk kids. He wanted gang bangers. They would build electric race cars and race them. He said the transformation was amazing when they accomplished goals. He always said there were a lot of really smart kids that felt like they had no choice but crime. Giving them a choice is a good first step. I also have zero issues hammering someone for violent crime. I also think there's a better way to "correct" nonviolent crimes than putting someone in jail for 1-8 years and destroying their lives. Once they are out, they become a burden on society because we refuse to allow them to participate.

1st of all, they exist. Do you load your own? What are the specs on the gun? Are you willing to load duplex loads? It's much easier with a suppressed sbr, but double with a 16". You'll need to experiment a bit, but they are 112 gr expanders. 1 in 7 or faster twist.

Well.......if you ever studied serial killers, you'll find out they sometimes rape victims up to days after they kill them. A few minutes is no big deal. She may have not been raped, but it's the assumption everyone is putting out there. He may have just wanted to kill her for whatever reason.

It's perfectly acceptable for you to put the 18" on it. Take pictures of your forms and keep them in a file called nfa and you'll never worry about having your paperwork.

I guess the question will be if there have been similar crimes and what charges were brought against the defendant?

I just hope they have the right guy/guys.

I had this talk with my Wife years ago about this. I asked her to please fight back. She looked at me like I was an idiot and told me if they were going to kill her, they'd have to do it on the spot. I only asked that she have an empty mag when it was over. I need to have this talk with my Daughter. She once asked me if monsters existed. I told her they did, but they don't look like they do in the movies. She asked me what they looked like and my Wife told her "They look like your Father, your teacher, or your neighbors". It's very important that you don't look like a victim.

https://hogswat.com/ https://hogassault.com/ Never hunted with either. This is just an example. There are cheaper places, but travel expenses go up due to distance.

There are outfitters that'll provide night hunting equipment. They'll also take you day hunting. Dogs will be used in some cases. They even have knife hunts. You just have to be willing to drive to Texas, Arkansas, South Carolina, or Georgia. I've never hunted Alabama, but you can probably find places down there. The guide is always with you in most cases if it's an eradication hunt. Don't bother with the trophy hunting places. You'll need to find a couple of guys to go with you. They'll sometimes put you with another party, but people typically want to know the guy banging out rounds next to them.

Are you talking day hunting or night hunting?
-
They have a guy and he's been charged.

Most people don't own their hunting land. They get permission from the owner, do a hunting lease, or hunt family land. You'll need to do some leg work. Someone may let you shoot a doe on their place.
-
Honestly the best thing you can do is get hunting land and invite someone to go. It is so hard to get someone to let you hunt. The good spots are good because of how much work goes into the place the entire year. Then everyone wants to hunt your land. If you have the land, most guys will be happy to hunt with you. They may even invite you to their place. When you say "take me hunting", most hear "let me shoot your deer". The other thing is safety. Getting shot sucks. Dealing with someone who shot themselves sucks. Dealing with someone who shot someone's cow sucks. You can say you're a great shot and safe, but you kinda need to prove it to most people.

My father taught me that violence solves all problems. He was not a good man. LOL

How to ship a firearm for service?
Alleycat72 replied to billyblazes's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
You mean that you guys don't just take it apart, put it in a smaller box, and label it "pipe wrenches "? I hate more than anything shipping a $10k+ optic off and having to put what it is and the value on it. Shipping NFA is fun also. -
The 4.6L engine in the Mustang was bad about engine ticks. It uses a two chain system for the overhead cam. If the chain tensioner gets worn a little, it'll start to tick. Doesn't hurt anything really, but it's anything. After we blew up the engine, I replaced the chains, tensioner, and the clutch when I rebuilt it. I'm not super familiar with Toyota engines, but I'd lean towards something like that.
