  1. See all of you that are going to be there tomorrow! Gonna try to get there between 8:30-9.
  2. Again, Your not comparing apples to apples....A retail business owner has responsibilities for the safety of their customers(or anyone in that store for that matter), thus there should not be a gun laying on the counter in plain sight in the first place. Average Joe(or Joette in this case) can't be responsible for what some idiot does and has no safety responsibilities towards the general public outside of following stardard laws(there is no law against leaving your keys in your car). And like the article stated, her grandson was the one who left the keys in the car in the first place, so it was likely an accident anyway. Exactly, End of story.
  3. I think the key thing here is the guy STOLE the car....doesn't matter if the keys were in it or not. He took what didn't belong to him, therefore he stole it. He got in a wreck while he was driving said stolen vehicle, therefore the responsibility lies with him and him alone.
  4. But the way I see it it, The victim of the car crash is the one sueing, correct? The owner of the car had NO responsibility involving that car crash. The theif could've just as easily hit them in his own vehicle.
  5. EXACTLY! Leaving keys in your car may be stupid now adays(although in this case, according to the article....the grandson left the keys in the car), but still doesn't make you responsible when some d-bag steals it(again...if he wanted to steal it...he was going to steal it anyway) and gets in a wreck.

  7. According to that article, her grandson left the keys in the car...."her grandson Joseph D. Ash Jr., who had left keys in the car". Also, leaving a gun unlocked where a child had access to it is abit different than accidentally leaving your keys in your car and an adult to come along and steal it. That's just me though
  8. WOW...How did I miss this thread? Is it too late to donate now?
  9. Seems that round(7.92x33 Kurz) would be hard to come by, no? But i'm assuming one of those guns wouldn't be a range toy either though, right?
  10. I was watching "Tactical Arms" on the Sportsman Channel last night, and i've seen the gun before during the intro to this show and it got me curious....What kind of gun is this? Its the first gun you see in this video....
  11. Thanks guys, I appreciate the input. Now like Mad_Squirrel said, I can just dream about one until I can come up with the extra coin...
  12. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was revised because I checked their site this past weekend and looked it over good and it wasn't on there. So good news for you, you haven't lost it....completely anyway.
  13. Exactly! He could just run them over with his mower, I tell ya what.....
  14. Do you think the writers of the show put in as much thought as we all have while they were writing it?
  15. Yup, Thanks....I've already eyed their prices and they do have good ones, possibly where i'll buy if I don't find anything at the show(you never know). Just thought I would get an idea of prices before I hit the show. Thanks again.
  16. Even though he was in the hospital, He could've been in there a long time before the outbreak started, right? I mean i'm sure they had him on an IV with needed suppliments, right? And couldn't the people at the hospital shaved him and kept him somewhat healthy while he was in the coma? May have been in there a good long while, but only week a couple weeks or so after the outbreak?
  17. I guess the main thing I was thinking if it would've been a couple months that he was in the hospital, and if the Doc did tell him she was pregnant, that right there could tell him she was sleeping around.
  18. Thanks for the offer man! Maybe some other time. Coal Creek's site(although not sure how updated they keep this list) says they got two Kimbers for rent, both in 45....Kimber Custom Target II .45 ACP, and a Kimber Pro Carry II .45 ACP.
  19. So i'm thinking about watching for some HP's at the show saturday. I have yet to buy any HP's yet, but I am wanting to get some to keep for my M&P9c for home defense(and eventually when I get my HCP). I plan on buying probably 2-3 boxes, 1-2 to "test" and the 3rd to keep. The Gold Dot's seem to be widely used and well liked, so I figure those should be fine for my needs. Anyways, Like I said, I have never bought any HP's before, so I was just wondering what a "good" price on these are? Also, I know this is asked a ton, bu I noticed their site lists 4 different loads for these....which do most of you prefer? 115gn, 124gn, 124+P, or 147?
  20. Thanks guys, That is kinda the response I was expecting. I have shot polymer .40's before, and pretty sure I shot something one time that was a .45, however can't remember for sure what it was. Nothing I have shot has left me saying "to heck with that"....haha. Closest thing I suppose is my mom's .38 S&W Airweight, but still nothing to whine about too much.
  21. Thats kinda what I was thinking. May have to see about going over to Coal Creek saturday after the show and see what kind of 1911's they got to try out. Hopefully I can pull myself away from the show in time to get there before 4pm.
  22. So I am getting the 1911 bug and wanting to get one soon as I come up with the coin, however I got to thinking I have never actually shot one. I have felt of quite a few in the store and I like how they feel in my hand, but i'm just wondering what they feel like shooting? So how is the recoil on a FS or Commander length 1911(.45 of course)?
