  1. As far as the pregnant thing....How long was it that Rick was in a coma(roughly of course)?
  2. Just watched the last episode from last night(via DVR). I didn't really know what to expect, but it wasn't what I expected. Now i'm gonna be chompin' at the bit until next season!
  3. Anyone ever shop here? I just bought 500rds of 7.62x39(Ulyanovsk) ammo from them for an awesome price. Ordered it last Tuesday night, It was waiting for me when I got home today. They don't have much in the way of brass ammo(except for that yugo surplus stuff), but for you guys that don't mind shooting steel cased stuff, I would definetly check them out. I got my 500rds for a total of $103 shipped, which is about the cheapest i've been able to find when figuring in shipping. They also seem to have some good deals on guns and a TON of accesories and such....although haven't done a ton of research on their items. Anyways, Just thought I would pass along this website to anyone that may be interested and might could save a few bucks. Below is the link... http://www.centerfiresystems.com/
  4. 70below is going to have a table? I am wanting to mill about and drool over some 1911's(among other things i'm sure)....
  5. I had saw those, and would definetly consider one if my budget allowed. May end up having to wait until after the holidays to get something anyway, so maybe things will change between now and then.
  6. Just throwing this out there out of curiosity, but what does a basic used Springfield 1911 go for? Something above the mil-spec sights, but doesn't have to be "loaded" by any means.
  7. Thanks guys, I had seen those Vizio's, but wasn't sure about their reputation. Might have to look into one of those.
  8. So my brother, sister-in-law, and me are thinking about trying to get my dad & stepmom a new TV for Christmas, however we only have a budget of about $300 bucks. They don't really need anything special(HD, super flat tv, dvd combo setup or anything like that....and really widescreen doesn't matter[or can you even buy one that isn't widescreen anymore?]), just a simple unti for watching plain ol' TV. As far as size, We are thinking about 26"(seems to be a pretty standard size) would be about right, but if we could find a deal on abit bigger screen...we wouldn't be opposed to that. Like I said, they don't need or care for anything special, but we would like to get them a fairly good quality TV for the money....something that they aren't going to have problems with a few months down the road. I haven't bought a TV in a LONG time, so I need some suggestions and was hoping someone may know of some good deals on something we might be interested in. So if any of you guys might have any suggestions, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
  9. Thanks Man! I appreciate it. Still trying to decide whether I want to go with the regular blued version, or save up abit more for what I really want and go with the hard chrome version.
  10. It's not the "blingy" chrome....haha. Just basically looks like stainless, they don't offer a true stainless, so I figure this would be the next best thing. However still don't know for sure if i'll be able to swing the extra $$$ for the chrome, may still end up with the regular blued version...which would be fine too.
  11. Well, I got to get my hands on an American Classic in the hard chrome finish today. I can say, I believe this has made my decision....really felt like a nice gun and just felt "right". Now....Anyone wanna donate to the "Get me a 1911 foundation"? BTW, Do any of you guys with this gun(with the blued version) happen to have any pics of theirs after some use? I know a few of you mentioned you thought the blueing might be abit thin, just wondering how they look after abit of use?
  12. Well, I started downloading some songs tonight using Amazon.com's setup. I like how they have their MP3 Downloader setup, click on "Buy", you confirm the purchase, and it starts downloading it. It automatically charges your debit/credit card as you buy songs(I think it may wait until you have a certain monetary amount before it makes the charge...not sure on that), but I like how its setup. So far on the list....(Some I won't mind having myself, some requested by my brother) ZZ Top - Fandango Album Metallic - Enter Sandman, Nothing Else Matters, One Megadeth - Greatests Hits/Back to the start Album Johnny Cash - Super Hits Much more to come!
  13. I just sent you another PM saying I didn't get the Pm...haha. Anyways, I'll shoot you another Pm and we can try to work out something. Thanks!
  14. If the weather holds out(according to what their forecasting), I'm gonna be there this Sunday(5th). Feel free to come up and join me if you'd like.
  15. Thanks guys! Great input! Keep it coming. I'm hoping to be able to make a decision(and come up with the $$) by the first of the year. I'm really wanting a stainless(or hard chrome) finished one if I can afford the price tag, but if not the regular black finish(s) will be fine.
  16. I know it will probably be hard to get one for the price i'm asking, however I really like the looks of the stainless models(I know...what does it matter...lol...but still), or two-tone versions. However looking at some possible prices, I could probably make myself splurge an extra 50 bucks over my limit to get a stainless or two tone gun. I'm not really crazy about the nickel plated RIA's though...almost too blingy for my taste. Anyone know(or heard) much about the American Classic's?
  17. More than likely I am leaning towards a full-size or possibly commander. As I more-so had in mind for this gun to be my "range gun".
  18. So i'm pondering on looking into a 1911 for my next purchase. However like many, I simply can't afford to spend a grand or more on a gun at the moment. I am hoping to stay under $500 bucks, so I need your guys opinions on which you would prefer. Let me know what you think. Thanks! As far as the Taurus, I have heard good things about the guns in general, but the part that concerns me about them is their Customer Service(or lack of). Haven't heard much about the others customer service.
  19. Awesome! I think you'll be happy with that Savage, I love mine and can imagine that heavy barrel and thumbhole stock will only make it better. Congrats. Don't forget pics once you get it.
  20. I may not, but if what you have showed in this thread (whatever it may be) is any indication, That is plenty enough for myself to not to want to give you my business.
  21. I am not basing my negative review solely on you making that broad statement, it is how you have showed your character in this thread. In my opinion...for what its worth, A store owner should be able to be the bigger man and either ignore a statement like that(who really cares what they think?), or simply send them a private message wondering what their problem is and make things right. (especially with something as simple as what your statement was started upon....what wages you pay your employees?....really?)
  22. I (as well as most others) haven't posted on this thread, I believe this is what has offended most(at least on my part) is that you group "everyone on this site" as the same.... Just because there is a few that do as you mentioned(and I believe most of us realize they are some that do), doesn't mean "everyone" does. So like many others stated, You have lost some potential business from myself and anyone else that may ask for a review of your store from me.
  23. Hmm...May have to call the Norris PD to find out. Thanks for the heads up. Edit* Yup, It's closed....Just called the PD. Maybe next weekend.
  24. Thanks guys, I believe i'm gonna stick with Amazon as most seem to be happy with them, plus i'm sure its about as safe as you could get compared to some of the other less popular sites, or the torrent/free download type sites that you have to worry about downloading something extra along with the song. So thanks to everyone for the input.
