  1. You may have to take your own shot bags. i bought mine at bass pro
  2. Can't beat caldwell's products. I have a Lead Sled DFT. I use mine for sighting in just about any rifle that has recoil. Never had to use more than two bags of shot. Haven't tried the solo. You can't rent a standard lead sled at Stones river if you don't have any experience with them
  3. Does this mean I'm off the list for a little while?
  4. I you could see my chalk board right now, I would prove that Obama really is the only one that's allowed to fart.
  5. I don't mind at all. You know my opinions of Beck and Rush, and you know why I have those opinions. Fact is, neither one of us are 100% right, so I'm hoping you'll jar something loose in my hard head
  6. So... if all the fact checking groups are in on the conspiracy, I guess there's nobody left to trust, except Beck, of course.

Our goal is to apply the best practices of both journalism and scholarship, and to increase public knowledge and understanding. 8. Are you sayin' they really are commies? I figured glen's tourettes were just kicking in at the time
  9. I know a few that could survive it as well
  10. Like my momma used to say, "Every cloud has a silver lining". Always made me feel better, even though it's really bull
  11. Look at it this way... the more he takes off, the less time he has to ruin your life
  12. That's a new one on me.
  13. I missed the funeral too. IRS took all my money
  14. ... and if you were in West Virginia, you would field dress it.
  15. Some of it is OK, but you can't count on it. They might as well have named the brand Butthead tho. Where did they come up with that?
  16. It's not cool to slam somebody's religion, even tho I have big problems with a lot of them (including the one I grew up in). Kinda makes me think about how I folks' politics, since it has become a religion for some, especially these days.
  17. Haven't been to Gander yet. I used to go into Bass Pro during off times. The sales guys were usually helpful once you get one, but I've always known what I wanted. When I bought my X Bolt, I asked for it specifically, so I really only had to fondle two rifles. Same with the scope for it. i had the Leupold model number, and they had it in stock. We have great gun stores in Nashville
  18. I bought several long guns (3 brownings, 1 marlin, etc.) from Bass Pro, and all were what I went in for. Bass Pro is kinda week on accessories, so I get a lot of that stuff from Midway. I have bought from G&L and Specialty Arms as well. So, I haven't even needed all the stores in Nashville. I would love to see a Cabela's in Nashville, but I do just fine without them.
  19. KC is close to their home base. Who knows the real answers without talking to somebody inside. I grew up eating White Castles and Steak and Shake, but they're relatively new to Nashville. It's pretty easy to put your hands on anything you want in Nashville. Maybe that's part of it. I bought a lot of new guns last year, and in most cases, did the research, and then went out and bought it once the decision was made.
  20. I'm guessing it a combination of their origin, market research, etc. i think they're a Nebraska company. The store in St. Louis is relatively new. If they're like most other corporations, they'll expand. St. Louis is a big place, at least twice as big as any in Tennessee. The store there isn't that far from the Bass Pro, and is nowhere near the center of the metro.
  21. iphone 3GS. Maybe the first decent pic yet. Next time I'm in St. Louis, I'll drop by with a real camera. It's worth the trip just to see the taxidermy.
