You should be appreciative of the commie appeal not listing you. Five members of my family are not listed in the current database. Some of us were listed before the update. There's a few thousand permit holders who would prefer not to be listed. -

My wife listens but chooses to ignore most of what I say. While there is a choice to carry open or concealed, concealed carry prevents more problems. -

I've had a K40 for about 12 years. It was my wife's daily carry untill a few months ago. She likes the XD40sc better due to the grip safety.

1-3 7 round magazines. Average gun fight = 3 rounds. -

An XD40sc or G27 may offer what you want in a carry gun. Both also have similar size models in 9mm. A Kimber Ultra CDP II is a nice size if you want a .45. I do not want to trust the .380 to provide adequate protection, but it's better than being unarmed.

Check Lowes. I got a safe there last year for a few hundred. There's better ones made but this does the job.
