  1. Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading and Speer Reloading Manual have been a part of my reloading bench for several years.

I've heard good comments about the Ruger but haven't fired one yet. The size & price make it worth looking at as a back up or those times when it's difficult to conceal larger pistols.
  3. I prefer to have the trigger covered.
  4. I carry a G27 in a Don Hume IWB holster. It was inexpensive and works well.
  5. The best way to start reloading, is find a good reloading manual and read it. Then you will have an idea what equipment and supplies are needed.
  6. been there, done that
  7. That's the reason they give a good warranty, their product works. If they thought their product was junk, they would not offer a good warranty.
  8. The information necessary to reload would need to include the brand and amount of powder. There are several good reloading manuals available.
  9. Congrats! TN has been getting the permits processed in a reasonable time this year. Now they need to speed up the renewal process.
  10. The Benchmade knive has been held up well.
  11. A G27 or XD40sc are my choices for carry when a 1911 isn't possible.
  12. A stun gun or pepper spray may be an option in places that firearms are not allowed.
  13. I'm too old to run or fight, so there aren't many options left.
  14. With the inability of the FAA to track the registration of aircraft, I not very concerned with them watching my every move.
  15. It's not possible to own only one 1911!
  16. The only "DMZ"s I've seen were in SE Asia many years ago. I will honor a business having to right to tell me my weapon is not welcome, but I'll politely inform them that I choose to carry and that I'll find a place that appreciates my business.
  17. I've been keeping the boxes for my firearms in the attic. I'll probably never have a use for them, as it would be unlikely I'd ever sale one of my firearms.
  18. TW-25B seems to be doing an excellent job. I've used it for all my pistols and rifles during the last two years.
  19. When possible I'd prefer to deal with a local shop, but at some point, the difference becomes too large for me to accept.
  20. The main thing you accomplish in making a home more secure, is to make it take a greater effort for a criminal. He'll take the easier choice and pick a home that is less well protected.
  21. Congrats!
  22. Don't put it off until it's too late, with the excuse that you don't need it until you die.
  23. My vet has been great in the years I've used them. Some of the previous vets were not.
  24. My G27 looks out of place in the safe beside a Springfield PRO, TRP, Loaded model, and several XDs. The 27 or an XD gets carried often, not because it's better, but it would be less of a loss.
