I don't shoot 'hot' ammo any more. I used to think that hot rounds was were it was at but I have been very disapointed with some Buffalo Bore ammo that was hot and not being able to put it on target and it wasn't because hard recoil. I had a range officer when I was in a police academy tell me he had experienced the same thing of some ammo just being too hot. If I did reload I would probably get back into shooting large bore revolvers but i just can't find the cost of the ammo to be worth the fun.

^Yes, after owning both I agree neither one is considered a light handling round. I got rid of the 44 thinking I could shoot it more and cheaper but there wasn't enough difference.

Well if they let you shoot a 44mag then the 45LC should be a little less brutal with sound and impact. For me the 44mag as 44mag cost a little less than 45LC around here. If you get a 45acp cylinder than I would go with the 45/45.

You may not notice a weight difference from a fully loaded Glock 27. Youy will find holsters for the Sp101 aren't too awefully common and not all jframe holsters fit. I understand wanting a heavier trigger though.

If you want to practice with your firearm just hold it and make sure your finger is outside of the trigger guard. I guarantee you someone from your class will get caught with that finger in there, don't let it be you. Oh and start running more.

The SIG 220 SAO trigger is nothing like a 1911 if that is what your wondering.

A dog would have found that easier than a cop. When the dog hits there tearing that car apart until they find what the dog hit on.

I've had many weak primer strikes with the 36gr hp Winchester bulk pack with my NAA Mini.

I have mine also so I don't always have to have a badge also. I believe somewhere in HR 218 it also states to have a badge. I think my department would not stand behind me if I used a weapon off duty I wasn't qualified with. Also my DMV had their head up there a** and couldn't figure out what POST means even after faxing my certifcate and calling a lot of people.

The DAK trigger is liveable if you were to pick up a Sig that had one. I would not however purposely go on a hunt for one. I can't compare it to the LEM H&K trigger. Most people feel the same way I do about the DAK.

I have been saying this for years. I have plenty of experience with them both.

Barrel looks too long and the sights arent right to be a 5906.

Hopefully they wont have as much trouble as the 250's either.

There being phased out and actually the H&K LE 40's that were replacing the Berettas are being replaced also. Homeland Securtiy is going to SIG 229R DAK across the board. Air Marshals and Secret Service are the exception.

Do you have the XD45's? Intresting how it seems the 45s are the only ones ever seen been used by Police.It seems like the Glock 22 is by far the most commonly used police pistol in TN. I cant think of a single department using a 40 thats not a Glock in TN.

That is pretty common with those little 380's to have a hard time ejecting a live round. I wouldn't be worried but both of you should put about 100rds each through it for reliability testing.

The Sigma is not a perfect pistol, I know from experience. The P95's are considered by many one of the best pistols for the money. I would not consider the Ruger an easy pistol to conceal.

I have seen a study that wasnt that old and I dont know if it even included Federal agencies but glock had 80ish percent and Sig and S&W were within 1% of one another, I dont remember which was higher. I do remember thinking whoever done the study seamed like a pretty unbiased source.

Theres still some older s&w 4506's and similar carried around here as well. I cant think of any department around Chattanooga that carries M&P's other than Chatt State Campus Police. My department allows whatever and we are about 90% Glock.

In the United States behind GlocK I would say Sig may have the next biggest market followed very closely by S&W and Beretta. Very few XD's, H&K's, and even a agency carrying Walther P99's here.

I have several revolvers that I shoot regularly and I ll tell you they all have failed to fire at least one time. Normally its where I short stroke the trigger.

Also know there were a few differences even in the Gen3's. Sometime in 2002 all Glocks received 3 pin frames, these are slightly more durable. As well as a loaded chamber indicator which is just a little raised area on the extractor. I have Gen 3's and 4's and really have no preference between the two.
