  1. Or just keep buying them, that way, you always have one or two or six in the system [emoji12] .....ask me how I know
  2. I might throw my hat in the ring for the SW title....just saying:)
  3. My wife and I have a contract on a home. It's a downsize one-level ranch that will be our last home...(maybe I've said that before...lol). Built in 1952, we will be doing some remodeling. The garage has been converted to a bedroom/bonus room. I'll put my safes in there for now, but we plan on building a garage. My question....has anyone built a room and used one of the 'safe' doors? Where did you find plans? Ideas? The lot is flat so it wouldn't be a basement. It would be in the garage addition. Poured concrete walls? Block walls filled with rebar and concrete? Approximate cost? Lots of questions. Any one here a contractor that has done such a thing? Pics? Thanks
  4. Best bet is to post some pics and descriptions here. There are enough collectors and good folk on here that will give you an honest opinion. The better the pics, the better the opinion. Dittos on the GB completed auctions.
  5. As the resident oral surgeon general dentist periodontist implantologist, I'll say that Steve's products work great in my office. Squirmy patients suddenly freeze when I whip out an automatic protech and proceed to magically remove their wisdom teeth or place their implants. They marvel at the speed and precision that these instruments allow me to work. Seriously, as a buyer of no less than 10 knives from Steve, I'll vouch for him and his products. Though they don't come advertised in a surgical catalog, they ought to be since they are definitely surgical precision in quality.

  9. I have the Ruger 22 and it's wicked quiet with a can. Very accurate and the trigger is spot on.
  10. I've got 4 Stihls. One is a pole saw, the other three are different sizes. I use them at the lake cabin on Center Hill. The 'farm' and pro saws are best.

I operate kinda like Star Trek did, but instead of star date 2342, I live in gun dates. Currently, I think it's around gun date 2345....lol
  12. I'm not a periodontist, but I am a general dentist trained in periodontics. I treat perio disease with a laser using the LANAP protocol. The only FDA approved procedure using a laser. If you need implants, I place and restore those as well. I would be happy to offer a consult if you have any questions. I am well-respected on this forum and have treated several members and have nearly 30 years experience. Pardon the shameless self-promotion, but I figured I'd throw my hat on the ring. 13. Well, it took me a week to find what I wanted, but she's home now
  14. Looks like I'm gonna buy me a DD rifle tomorrow:)
  15. Was in Everything Weapons this past week picking up a special order and saw the new 'urban grey' suppressor ready series that CZ has come out with. I held three of them and lo and behold a CZ 75 P-01 with the omega trigger jumped in my truck. Really like the trigger. Ran it through it's paces today in the woods shooting steel at about 20 yards. Ran and shot great. Was hitting very consistently both suppressed and straight up. Really sweet little gun. Love the color and how it fits my hand.
  16. Ever since the closing of Guns for America in 100 Oaks, I've struggled to find a reasonable local place for transfers. It's probably saved me a ton of money not having a 'go-to' shop, but I'd like to find another. Everything Weapons wants 50 per gun. Anyone still in the 25-35 range that's convenient to Brentwood or South Nashville? Anyone discount the fee for multiple transfers? Thanks
  17. Any chance for a Damascus blade? Obviously, there would be a different price
