CZ 75...is there a dealer north of Nashville who stocks these?
gr8smiles replied to gregintenn's topic in Handguns
Was in Everything Weapons this past week picking up a special order and saw the new 'urban grey' suppressor ready series that CZ has come out with. I held three of them and lo and behold a CZ 75 P-01 with the omega trigger jumped in my truck. Really like the trigger. Ran it through it's paces today in the woods shooting steel at about 20 yards. Ran and shot great. Was hitting very consistently both suppressed and straight up. Really sweet little gun. Love the color and how it fits my hand. -

Ever since the closing of Guns for America in 100 Oaks, I've struggled to find a reasonable local place for transfers. It's probably saved me a ton of money not having a 'go-to' shop, but I'd like to find another. Everything Weapons wants 50 per gun. Anyone still in the 25-35 range that's convenient to Brentwood or South Nashville? Anyone discount the fee for multiple transfers? Thanks

NRA Annual Meeting - Head Count
gr8smiles replied to Mindless-Focus's topic in Events and Gatherings
I'll be heading up Thursday for the NRA Foundation banquet and there when the doors open Friday am. Coming back Saturday. Staying at Marriott East. Pretty excited. I'll spend my time on the exhibit floor. -
It's a Leupold Vx-3 6.5x20 AO. I prefer scopes with adjustable objectives because so much of my shooting is done inside 50 yards.

One of the great benefits of suppressors is they allow you to shoot most anywhere and not disturb anyone. I decided to set up a small indoor range in my basement. I can get to 60 feet, it's heated and cooled, no annual fees, not weather dependent, no snappy range officers, and no one three feet away doing AR or AK mag dumps (not that there's anything wrong with that, just not 3ft away when I'm benching 22lr. I'm shooting into a 22lr bullet trap that I've filled with melted wax from old candles. All I hear is 'thud'. Definitely limited to 22 rifles and really good handgun shots. I also must clean up the brass since I do sleep with the 'range officer':) Perfect for dialing in a scope or testing suppressors. 89 decibels is my best so far. Racking the bolt was 82. Rifle pictured is a Cooper Jackson Squirrel with a Surefire Ryder ss can.

Come on now guys, for those that have been to my office as both a dental patient or as a 'retail' customer as my staff likes to call it, you know that I have the best mags out there. Sporting Classics, Guns and Ammo, American Rifleman, Bowhunting, Tennessee Sportsman, and more than I can remember. I am the one that orders. You won't find Time, Newsweek, or any other liberal rags either. You will also see my framed NRA Lifetime Benefactor certificate as well.

Agreed ...have bought LOTS from them.

I'll send you a pm of a friend who saved me nearly 30-40% over State Farm -
Hard today ever go wrong with an HK pistol. The resale on them is probably better than any other major brand. I have the vp9 and the p30sk, along with a safe full of others and love shooting them all.

Any suggestions on how to ship a scope?
gr8smiles replied to ehull20000's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Shipped three out last week and had no problems. Wrapped in copious amounts of bubble wrap and well boxed. Shipped priority mail insured for the amount I sold it for. All made it in one piece. -
This is what happens when they close the gun-show loophole. Now, they have to resort to robbery when they used to be able to buy fully automatic clips on the Internet. But, don't worry, if they decide to sell the guns to their friends, they will do a background check first....Please don't tell Obama about this, I'd hate to have his feelings hurt since he is in touch with his tears....give me a break!
