  1. I'm guessing he meant 'cruising', but the liberal autocorrect tried to change it :)
  2. Totally agree. I bet I transferred 100 guns and several class III items over the years. Peg would always text me and say that my 'fill in the blank' was in. It was almost like having my own FFL. Where is the best transfer place now near Brentwood? Rick Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Mine were bolt guns too. I removed the sticks, triggers, and bolts. Shipped straight to him and back to me. Out via FedEx and back via ups. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Actually it was a decent show. Different vendors than Goodman and two rooms vs one. The private dealers agreed to do background checks. It was not applicable to the walk-around-what-ya-selling crowd. I ended up trading a Nightforce scope that came on a rifle I bought here for a US Optics that had more power and better parallax. I was happy with the deal. I didn't spend too much time there. A couple hours yesterday and ran back today for 15" to do the scope deal. Didn't see any guns that tempted me, but there was a very nice factory lettered nickel Colt SAA in 44-40 walking around. If it had be 357 or 45 Colt, might have jumped as the man seemed willing to deal. A renickeled SW hand-ejector that one guy thought was a prize. I'll go back just cause it's close and worth a afternoon. Rick Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. One of the best in the country in my opinion is Jim Pixley at jpgrips.com I have had him thread about 10 rifles and many pistols. I have sent him two Cooper 22s, 6 Kimber 22s including a Super America, a Weatherby XXII, and a few other high-end guns. It's hard to tell they have been worked on and they are oh so quiet. Shipping is easy as its not a gun, just a barrel. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I bought a thumbler's tumbler with the ss media. I use it to clean my suppressor baffles. It works great. I disassemble them, throw them in, and let it spin overnight. They come out spotless. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Said no one ever..... My NFA toys are my favs. Many suppressors, a few integrals, and now SBRing multiple guns :) I always have one in the hopper. When one stamp comes in, another goes out [emoji106] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. E-filed two forms for two SBR builds. Approved today. Filed April 18.... Approved 7/30. Both same day. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  10. Amen to all of the above. Chip did mine several years and 16 NFA items ago. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. I noticed that about Larue as well. Was hoping to pick up some rings. "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"
  12. I was there from about 8:30-3:00. Did not stop the whole time. Felt like I got lots of good swag. Take an old cap as Benelli is having a trade your cap deal. Trade in your old cap and get a new Benelli one. Lots of people were getting caps from other booths and trading them in. You throw the old one in a big glass bin. Good marketing on their part, but it seemed wasteful to me. Lots of cool t-shirts to be had for 10-15-20 dollars. Most were the 10-15. I quit getting pens and junk stuff. Pelican has some floating key chains. Tons of bags and brochures. I didn't get much paper as it is heavy and I can find online whatever I need. Some decent deals are out there. Lots of gear and pack companies at pretty killer prices. Picked up a Nightforce scope for my 300 blackout...it was not free. I have plans tomorrow, but I plan on being back most of Sunday. Some pretty good knife deals there as well. Bought an neat concealed holster for a under the steering wheel. Take comfortable clothes, good shoes, and a good dose of patience. Lots of wheeled vehicles, strollers and karts, but most everyone was very courteous and polite, much to the dismay of the radical left who think we are all rude and disrespectful. Best part of the weekend is that I won 5 guns at the raffle Thursday night. Two Mossberg Duck Commander shotguns, a Steoger coach gun, and two Uberti Cattleman revolvers. Pretty good night:) Here is my swag shot, excluding guns as they have to ship to my FFL. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  22. I can imagine... I always knew salt water was rough on an engine :) "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"
  23. Brentwood is a ghost town. Very few cars, roads are worse than they were a few weeks ago. Not feeding the drama, just observing what I see. The Tundra doesn't know the difference between ice, snow, or asphalt :) "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron State of shooting stuff"
  24. For what it's worth, suppressors are pretty much a lifetime purchase. I would suggest waiting a few months and getting the money to buy the best one vs. settling for a lesser model. I plan on shooting my 7.62 on my LWRC SBR 5.56 all the time. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
