  1. Does the bullet have a small shoulder kind of like a SWC? if so I usually seat to just below the shoulder.
  2. It’s still a nice trigger and the reset seemed like a non issue when I was shooting it. Because the break is so nice I think Timney would have a real winner on there hands if they put a heavier return spring in that brought the pull up to about 4.5 lbs and gave it a stronger reset.
  3. My son put one in his gen 4 G17, the break is clean and crisp but light, we measured it at 3.5 lbs which is fine for a range or competition gun. The reset is a little sluggish, It comes with 2 different weight return springs he installed the heavier of the two to try and help with that. I didn’t notice the reset so much when shooting though, mainly when dry firing.
  4. Congratulations I like how you have notes on the back wall for different calibers.
  5. What do you mean by this? seating the primer on the 550 is no different than most other progressives except for the 1050 I guess.
  6. Correct me if I’m wrong but as delivered the LNL bells and drops powder in separate stations, so really no advantage over the 4 station 550 in that respect. I think you need to buy special powder thru expanders to take advantage of that 5th station?
  7. I have a Dillon 550 and a 650 both are great they will both have a hiccup at times but if your paying attention it’s not an issue. I’ve never used a LNL but it seems they can be a little more hit or miss than the Dillon, I’ve read many posts about having to adjust the timing and fiddling with the primer feed on them. It seems you either get a good one or not. A lot of people will prime off of the LNL so they don’t have to deal with it, which takes away from the advantages of buying a progressive.
  8. First time I saw/shot one was at Ducks Unlimited in Oshkosh probably around 2001
  9. Nelson conversion on a Kimber frame.
  10. Colt 1991 with some mods by Mark Morris.
  11. Rock River Bullseye Wadcutter
  12. In Garand thumbs review he had problems with both of the test guns he received if I remember correctly the first one had finish issues and the second had failure to extract problems after about a thousand rounds.
  13. I have the real McCoy and still want one.
  14. Is this new? when I shipped 2 guns back to manufactures for repair with them I had no issues.
  15. That’s a great idea. then we can also not treat people that are obese, smoke, drink and so on. I like the way your friend thinks
  16. The Rock Islands have a good reputation but if I was planning on modifying it in the future I would look at the Springfield Milspec instead.
  17. The thought that it might be a counterfeit was in the back of my mind but I didn’t want to say it. It’s just getting tiring trying to make sure what you are ordering is really what it says it is.
  18. I don’t think it’s supposed to be that way. I've read of one other person that said when they used Glock insert the light would attach to the rail correctly but the 1913 would cause it to move just far enough back that it wouldn’t snug up flush because it was hitting on the dust cover in front of the trigger guard.
  19. Try the 1913 rail adapter, I’ve read that the 19X and the rest of the Gen 5 Glock rails are different.
  20. When I went to Nashville I would always make a point to go there, but it was just because of the reloading supplies. The reloading section was a draw for me, I didn’t always buy reloading stuff but I did always buy something. So even though the stuff in the reloading section might have moved slower it got me in the door, now I don’t see a reason to go anymore.
  21. Most of the late model vehicles are specifying 0w20 oils, do they even make that weight in conventional oil?
