  1. You should not tempt him with such an unrealistic goal.
  2. Lanyards are good for water operations, high angle/rope work, and cavalry.
  3. Thanks for the link. I am familiar with the rules but was uncertain if those were the rules Music City was useing.
  4. Cheating on a classifier. What is that all about? I do have an idea. I have not discussed it with Michael so it may be a bit premature. I am thinking about starting a shuttle service from the lower/guest parking area up to the range. Such a service would have prevented the events of this past weekend and would also help ensure no one was too tired to perform at their best. Thoughts?
  5. It is still early in the year. He will come back full circle to the .45 by the end of the year.
  6. Why did you mount your rear sight so far forward?
  7. Just think how much faster and how may more he could have shot had he stayed on the rifle and not lifted his head every time he worked the bolt.
  8. I have an Encore Pro Hunter muzzleloader. I like it and it hadles well. I got it because I believe short of going with a custom build, it is the best muzzleloader on the market. Now that I have it I will get additional centerfire barrels. That being said, I would still opt for a good bolt action over the Pro Hunter. For me the extra barrels give me a back up to my bolt actions. Check out Mike Belm's site, www.bellmtcs.com , for Pro Hunter info.
  9. I was up there a few weeks ago and Nick Noble told me that there would be a Pro/Am in August of 2012. It sounded like things had just been finalized. I am looking forward to it.
  10. You are welcome to send me a PM and arrange to see mine if you are ever on the west side of Nashville. The Seecamp is a nice little pocket pistol and at one time it was the best and only viable option for a gun it's size. It may still be the best in terms of quality but there are other options out there now. I would never choose to carry it as a primary carry gun. I would not even consider the NAA .22mag. It is a novelty item. Depending on the model J frame you have, it may be the best BUG that can also double as a primary carry on occasions.
  11. I jumped the fence once. It is a sign of dedication to the sport and an individual quality to be held in high regard.
  12. M&P without a doubt. I am not sure why DA/SA guns are still being made:D.
  13. I have offered to load Hognut's rifle for him. That way he will not waste 15 seconds trying to get a round chambered. It is a painful thing to watch.
  14. I will be there shooting Pro on Thursday also. You guys shooting the 3 gun match in Dickson this weekend?
  15. Since you are working it are you shooting Thursday?
  16. Just noticed this thread and thought I would point out that Jeff Eady is not a training officer and SWAT member with Metro Nashville PD. He is probably with some other middle TN agency.
  17. I am kind of scared of the dark so will most likely pass on the night match. The rifle match is a different story. I will try to be there for that. Most people shoot rifles better than they do handguns. You, however, are an anomaly. I just about have your Gore-Tex ready.
