The person that owns the premises (Owner) A person in control of the premises (Manager) An employee or an agent of the owner responsible for protecting property or people. (Could be the bartender or anyone) As far as an agent of the owner responsible for protection of persons or property it doesn't say anything about it having to be a licensed security guard.

Hmmm....interesting statement. I would tend to agree with his reasoning behind OC at least partially. I admit if I did it..it would be to make a statement. Something like "Everyday Citizens can be/should be armed as well", "Not everyone with a gun is BG" and so on...all forms of political statements I guess. But I would say making a statement by OCing is a personal choice. However....OC can also be an opportunity for education as well. If it sparks a question from someone interested in learning more about carry.

Hmmmm...can't totally agree with you there. Now....is it ok to be suspicious of all LEOs...well even though it could been as slightly paranoid, I wouldn't say it is wrong. But that doesn't mean they should all be treated as being bad. Sort of like to protect himself/herself a LEO needs to be suspicious of all people, but he/she doesn't have to treat them like a thug until give a reason to do so. No doubt there are bad cops out there, but not all LEOs are. No doubt there are criminals hidden among normal citizens, but not all citizens, even among those that may interact with LE. I think all will agree with the above. I think we all also agree bad cops are not good, and criminals are not good. Also I really doubt anything any of us type are going to change the above facts. It doesn't hurt to discuss and debate them. But at the end of the day, there will always be a few bad people, some without a badge, some with.

AMEN to that. The place I used to go to didn't use the spring loaded needle...the just used a handheld lance...most were good at using it....a few felt like they were cutting your finger tip off...lol As far as the needle to take the plasma goes....the always used the same spot on the same arm for me....got sort of scar tissue with no feeling in it in that small spot, so after awhile didn't feel a thing.

I will admit...it seems Rep Todd wants the bill to pass, but as he introduced it. Even if the majority would pass it without restrictions.

What gets me is it dying for lack of second. This happened to another bill I was interested in, but since it is not firearms related I won't bring it up. But my point is....are these people so afraid of a topic they can't even make a second for it to be heard? If everyone is that against it...what is the harm in it at least being debated. Then if the members truly feel they are against it (whether I agree or not) they can vote it down. I can tolerate someone voting their conviction....but to not even be willing to discuss it?.....well..anyway...

I think it says more about the feelings toward Obama that something like this is so believable.....

I understand venting... I do believe you treat everyone with the level of respect they deserve. ...and I agree an attitude is not against the law, for LEOs or Citizens...lol However..it should be against department policy, if it's not. In the meantime....stay safe.....

I agree that there really should be no restrictions...just an addition to the current law that HCP holders are exempt. But....aren't most of the places you'd be playing past 11 in already age restricted venuse and would be off-limits regardless of the curfew under this bill?

I hear what you are saying...and I understand. Especially if they are questions asked over everyone. But let me ask your opinion on this....Had they asked him for his HCP first, then he produces it....wouldn't he have been (should have been) free to leave at that point? I ask becuase it seems like I heard of a court case about a popular things some officers do...Let's say stop you for speeding...they issue the ticket...then just about when you are going to leave, they ask about searching the vehicle. It seems like I heard once the reason for the seizure was over, speeding and citation issued in this case, you are free to leave and they can't make you stay unless you do so voluntairly.
