  1. Ummm....that's a little personal, isn't it?
  2. Glad it has worked out to your satisfaction.
  3. I really need to come to each of your guys family reunions!!
  4. Maybe they should, but they don't always.
  5. Whoever is the first person to answer the phone at place of business is not necessarily the one that can actually speak for, or make policy for that business.
  6. You do if you are a US Citizen....so your statement is just as wrong as the other..... ...and now I think that is enough of the word play....
  7. Dang.... <putting the rope and torches away>
  8. If they are legal signs, that pretty much means No Carry regardless of where it is or any other laws that prohibit carry. IMO the law against carry where alcohol is served for onsite consumption would not apply because it is not within the confines of a building (porch or deck...)
  9. Sounds like good advice.
  10. Nope, but which ever applies to you, you have to show proof.
  11. Now...there ya go....I think that is probably the most simple and correct answer. (As long as you are inside or on the porch/deck )
  12. Definitely keep us posted. Maybe the Owner/Manager of the range will be more helpful. Tell them you know of a 1000+ member internet group that will tell people to avoid his place at all cost if it seems like he doesn't want to help. As far as an appeal....I learned a little something...I was checking because I remember seeing something about 30 days in there. What it is, if you file an appeal, they have 30 daysto set a date for the hearing, but there is no time frame for when the actual hearing has to be. But it sounds like it would be upheld anyway...
  13. Hmmmm.....On HCP's it does only say new, not renewals. http://www.state.tn.us/safety/handgun/generalinfo.htm
  14. There is a minimum number of rounds that have to be fired with a certain percentage of hits. But I would think any licensed school would know this. So if they knowingly didn't provide the required training in no way would I pay them again. Do you know if this was just you or did all that took the class at the same time, have the same problem? If this is a common occurrence of this school, they should have their licensed pulled by the state. But to answer your question...No, I've never heard of this before.
  15. She must be a Lawful Permanent Resident then.
  16. Ha Ha...you beat me this time canynracer
  17. According to the website there is of July 1, 2005. Either U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residence
  18. Yep...another way is a malfuction while wearing Thunderwear...
  19. Now that's funny....I don't care who you are!
  20. Not going to ridicule, just curious as to why you do carry, if it is a bother to?
  21. It's on the bottom of their General Information page. http://www.state.tn.us/safety/handgun/generalinfo.htm I had to show my birth certificate to get my DL, so would your DL not be proof?
  22. If it's set up on a private property lot, I'd say Yes. If it's on a city/county/state owned property, maybe not.
  23. I would think modern weapons....I mean the weapons carried by the disciples were modern weapons for the time. You make use of the tool available to you, right?
  24. Thread already started.. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?p=100172#post100172
