I was just want a way to lube these areas circled.

I called them a few minutes ago to check on a couple of other things, and I asked him about the upgrade. He said the kit was $55 I think.may get one later For now I’ll just take mine apart sometime and put a little grease on it.

Who did you get to thread it for Rem chokes?

Has anyone did the upgrade to their 550 press,new pins with the grease “zerks” and the different frame? Mine has none of that. I guess you’d have to either buy all the stuff or send it on for a rebuild ,which I guess they charge for .Anybody know?

6.5" barrel 22 mag cylinder is fluted, not matching serial number but that's the way I got it.Not a safe queen, but a great shooter.Im gonna keep the Hi viz sight ,I got the factory sight for it, just didn't want to change it back unless I had someone interested in it. Serial number looks like it's 1981-1982 $425 cash NO FELONS Small price drop Ill be in Monterey in the morning if anyone is interested

The magnification on the scope SUCKS!

Is that a 18” or 20” barrel? Fixed choke?

That will be nice then if you don’t have to cut down anything else but the barrel.

Id like to have one of mine cut down to about 12” , but i didn’t know how much work it would be to cut down the mag tube and action bars.Hadn’t had time to really look at it and measure. I just was reading Alleycat72’s idea and like it.Would like to have screw in chokes , but it’s probably pointless. For sure want a stock.I got Magpuls now .

Cool,Did you do that one yourself? Is it registered as a AOW or SBS? I was wanting to stay with the buttstock

Took these of my wife’s Tahoe, still got a lot of life in them.1 tire has a little more tread than the others , we cut one on the sidewall and had to buy a new one. $150 OBO or trade for ammo reloading stuff or ???

Got some today to try.

Does anybody know what used 357 mag brass is going for now?

I’ve already got a couple of 870’s I could use. So, to do it myself just cut the barrel down and have it engraved with my name ,city and state?

What do you have to engrave on it?

What’s the process on a SBS now? Do you have to have the receiver engraved or something?
