  1. The Outpost Armory had some today.
  2. To y'all that have Rossi 357 rifles, do you know anything about the newer Rossi/ Taurus rifles that have the lock in the back of the hammer? Are these just as good as the older ones? I have a 16" rifle and a Ranch Hand.I was thinking about selling or trading the RH and getting another Rossi rifle in 357. Just don't like the lock in the hammer.
  3. I've been loading 3.5 gr. of Bullseye behind a 158 gr. lead bullet too.I was just curious to see what everybody else was using. Thanks
  4. I've been loading 3.5 gr. of Bullseye behind a 158 gr. lead bullet too.I was just curious to see what everybody melded was using. Thanks

  7. I've got some Bullseye in the round cardboard 1 lb. cans I've been using out of for a couple of years.i got it with a bunch of reloading equipment I traded for a few years ago. Also have 2 11 oz. unopened metal cans I bought at a gun show about 8 years ago.I'd like to know how old they are.
  8. Thought would be a good deal for somebody, that was the price on the tag. May be able to get it a little cheaper.
  9. Ok,I stopped at Frontier Firearms yesterday, They are around Kingston right off I40. They had a Ruger MK III hunter for $479, which I thought was a decent price.I know these are a little hard to find.I know I've saw 1 today on another local for sale board for over $600 . Lol.
  10. What kind of powder ?
  11. Yeah ,I have a corded one too.I have had it for a long time,it has a good beam.
  12. I saw a Q beam at Wal Mart,thought I might try it.
  13. Does the Protac throw a good beam of light?I was wanting something , that I could see a coyote at 200 to 300 yards.
  14. 30.5 grains of IMR 3031
  15. I have a Streamlight Waypoint,it's 210 lumens.I would like to have something brighter, battery or rechargeable .Any ideas?
  16. Yeah that was my last Remington Model 700.
  17. Yes,that's where I got them.
  18. What kind of powder and how many grains would you put behind this without a gas check? Sorry ,wrong thread.I was referring to the 165 grain 30 cal. bullets for 30 30 that they have now.
  19. Not unless they changed it in the last few years.
  20. I get much better accuracy out of my bolt action .223's than I do with my AR's.I bought a new Remington SPS .223 a few years back, best I could get it to do was a little over 2" at 100 yards.I called Remington and they said that a 2" group was within their standards.I even sent it back to them for them to check out.I never could get it to shoot under 2", tried a lot of different loads.I went to Savage rifles after that.
  21. Is the 844 and 846 a military powder?
  22. I really like IMR 4895 and 4320 it seems to work with all the calibers I have .
  23. Sounds like 2" groups are common then. Thanks everybody.
  24. I may try some Varget in it.I was just trying some Hornady SP 55 gr bullets with 2230, my bolt guns will shoot 3/8" to 1/2" groups with Nosler 50 and 55 grain ballistic tips at 100 yards
