  1. I usually shoot Nosler and Sierra .I get great accuracy out of the 50 and 55 grain ballistic tips in my Savage mdl.10 PC and my Stevens mdl.200 .223.Also use 65 grain game king and 69 gr.MK Sierra. I just bought these Hornady to try cause they where around .13 each.
  2. Anybody loaded any of these 55 grain for 223?Just wondering how accurate they are.I bought 250 to try.
  3. How accurate are the SR22's,it's really hard to beat the Ruger MK I & II.The MK III should be as accurate as the I &II,just don't care for the loaded shell indicator and it won't fire if the mag is removed. Sorry about the double post.

  8. I wouldn't buy ANYTHING but a Savage!
  9. I tried that with a few 120 and 134 grain lead cast bullets I traded for a while back.I used some Uniqiue with about 8 grains(have to look at my records to be sure).I got about 5" groups at 25 yards, not too good.Thought it my be the Micro groove barrel that didn't like the cast bullets.I have some Bulls eye,PowerPistol, and IMR 7625 I could try.any ideas?
  10. Get you a Millet red dot SP-1, they are about $50 or $60 and have a tiny dot 3MOA.
  11. I didn't buy it from you, that was what you were asking austin7.62.
  12. I bought one from a member here and am very pleased with it.It has good bluing ,and the stock has the usual dings on it.The stock is in really good shape compare to some of the Chinese stocks I've seen.I do like them with some character though.I don't care for the really slick ones, this one has a lot of markings all over it.Shoots great too!Didn't want to give the person away that I got it from unless he wants to chime in. Jeff

  19. Shot 1 of those " Military" 00 Buck today out of my H&R Pardner 12 ga.at 20 yards.It has short barrel and a cyl. bore.It had a 12" spread at 20 yards.
  20. I was wondering if some stuff made brass brittle over time.
  21. Sounds like the easiest thing to do is to put the barrel extension.Next ,I guess would be the Form 5.Dont really know about a Trust ,sounds like spending more money for nothing(I'm not really up on that stuff though). Thanks for the information .
  22. What would my family have to do to transfer a Class 3 weapon(SBR) when I die? Jeff
  23. I've had really good groups with 25 grains of 2230 with a 55 grain Nosler Ballistic tip and 26 grain with a 50 grain Nosler. Both shot from a Stevens model 200 and Savage model 10 PC,both 1/9 twist.I've also had good luck with IMR 4320 with 65 and 69 grain bullets.
