Nice! I am setting up my own as well. I am going for a sitting down bench but it must be a little bit high so I will find a taller seat or deal with a low chair... lol I will just be doing pistol for the time being, with no thoughts of riffle. Where did you find the plastic bins?

I taught a woman to shoot... a umm well endowed one. It NEVER crossed my mind but she got a hot 9mm brass. I almost reached in to grab it... still dont know if I should have or not. I have seen several times at the Stones River HEC (a TWRA range I shoot at) since then they give women an orange safety vest to wear (backwards). Makes perfect sense to me, now!

My option is that the feel of a gun is something that is unique to each person. Take me for example: There are a ton of folks that will tell you that a Glock feels like an original appendage to their body. Personally I have never, (EVER) felt one that doesn't feel like something vile in my hand. Do not misunderstand me, I know they are excellent weapons, I just dont care for them. My point is that each person has a different option and you really should let that person choose their own weapon. If that really is what you want to give how about something like a gift certificate to a gun store? As to your other question, I am not an expert but it is my understanding that a person can sell, trade or buy any regular gun to anyone else Now "regular" here means anything not regulated by the Federal Firearms Act shown here: National Firearms Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia But as I said I am NOT an expert!

I dont blame you, I would comment on it too!!! It wasn't the gun's fault, it was to many to fix and not enough time to wait for it. I wondered for a long time just how many minutes after I left did he receive it. LOL!

Hello Jeremy and welcome! Right off I can tell you that the cheapest place that you can get your HCP is MJPD (yes, that's police department)! I work in MJ and a coworker told me that the city is cheap... something like $15 (but do NOT quote me). It is the cheapest place I found last fall when I was looking. If I can be of any other help feel free to shot me a PM.

Wait... am I missing something here? Is it necessary to store them in an airtight connector? Can't you store them in the open air? I mean yes, they are all shiny but the air won't damage them will it?

They are identical in all respects - 586 is the blue version, the 686 the stainless one... at least I believe that is the case.

I read a thread last night and now I can't find it, damn it! I think a date was set for June 25th but I cant find it again, so I can't be certain. It was said it would be at Owl Hollow Gun Range \ CMHR I believe. If I dont have my kids I am there!!
