  1. Personally I give OhShoot lots of kudos for standing up and telling us A) what happened his option of why it happened and C) for letting us see it for ourselves. I pray that he heals quickly and without problems!!! As the the why, as several others have said I too, have be in situations where I was and was not to blame; All I can say is PTL that I wasn't seriously injured! I do hope folks take this in the spirit that it was offered, to LEARN, to UNDERSTAND and to NOT repeat it!
  2. At least 100 for my 9 (usually more like 200), anywhere from 50 - 100 for my .45... but I REALLY don't want to wear it down (which is why I just got a HK USP in .45). Ordinarily I shoot at the Stones River Hunter Education Center in Davidson county.
  3. Congrats! Butttt where does the magazine go?
  4. Sweet gun! I would love to have one myself!

  8. Hey David, welcome! And if you ever make to to Nashville I would be happy to shoot your guns and test your beer!

  10. Welcome. I'm in Nashville as well, hope to run into you sometime!
  11. LMAO David! Had you been at the last gunshow I was (in da 'Boro) I would have taken some of that off your hands (if it was the correct caliber, of course). I hope like hell you have a forklift to unload it! So tell us this... what did you pay per round???
  12. Welcome to TGO and, once you move, to Tennessee. I think you'll love it! As to your question, I'm no lawyer but I would think when you get a TN driver's license you'd need to start the process of getting your TN carry permit. I;m sure you would find your answer at Handgun Carry Permits
  13. You said you that a Commander length was ok... why limit yourself, go the whole hawg and get a Commander! There was a series 70 for sale on the board a while back (may still be there for all I know but I rather doubt it). Personally I have a series 80 Colt, great gun and never a minutes problem out of it! I live in Nashville too and your welcome to shoot mine, if you'd like. Just PM me if you want to.

  15. Welcome and congrats!
  16. Welllll now, in fairness I dont think TGO is dangerous to the wallet directly, its all the folks who just HAVE TO show off their sweet shooters, that to that! Welcome btw.
  17. Welcome! Just remember, even a .22 will out run an LS3 (but it IS much for fun to try, behind the bow tie)!
  18. There is another, smaller shop (with a nice range) in Hendersonville called nRange.
  19. Dang... ANOTHER FNG??? I'm gonna start getting confused. Welcome to TGO and TN!
  20. Howdy, yall, welcome!
  21. Well, what ya expect? A couple of ole scatter guns, and maybe a well worn riffle is all ya need around the farm! After all Charlie don't even have a gun rack in the back winder of his truck!
  22. I have noticed by watching women shoot what you might want to try is to go to a well stocked gun store and let her try several until she finds something the she finds comfortable or at least usable. Its a very personal desicion and really should be left up to her.
  23. Glad you here with us. Welcome!
  24. Well, welcome to you and your lil Taurus! Lots of good folks around TGO, here!
  25. I agree about Apex! Wonderful, drop-in parts that makes trigger and striker feel perfect. I put Truglo TFO sights on mine, they are great!
