  1. 2 XDs-9 mags. 1-7 round and 1-9 round. Wife had the XDs stolen out of her vehicle a few years ago and these have just been in my cabinet. $50 for both. OBO
  2. Glock 43X - Holosun 507K milled (Not MOS from Glock) - Streamlight TLR-6 - Magwell extension - 4 10-round mags and 1 15-round Shield Arms(mag release included separate) - Night sights. Co-witness with red dot. Approx. 200 rounds through it. I have one OWB holster and a Tenicor IWB that goes with it.
  3. I'm in a similar boat and most signs point to Arsenal's AKs. However, I can't decide on the 7.62 or the 5.45! I would probably be doing some hog hunting, but mostly just plinking. Those of you that have a SLG-21 and a SLG-31, which do you prefer?
  4. I have read nothing but good things about this gun. Seems as though they are hard to find. I was looking at the Kimber Ultra series, but I may be looking for one of these. If you guys see any around, let me know. Thanks
  5. I hope this is legal to say on here, since she is not a sponsor, but I had some custom ear plugs made that have a filter built in. I can hear talking, buzzers, or whatever, but the filter obviously blocks out loud noises like gun fire. I love them. They are also perfect for going to races because I can hear what the guy next to me is saying. (I tested them at the Bristol race.) Got them from Elite Audiology in Mt. Juliet.
  6. Dolomite, I just want to say I really enjoy reading all your posts. Your are a very informed shooter and I can tell you have the experience to back up what you say. You may not claim to be an expert, but you are as close to one as I have ever seen. Thanks!
  7. Well, I guess the $200 league. I actually cancelled the Ka-bar purchase, because the bug may have bitten me. I had a Spyderco, once, and to this day it was my favorite knife because it stayed sharp, etc., etc. I know that you get what you pay for....so, I'm saving up and will let you know what I decide on. I know the Eskabar would be a good knife, but if I wanted good I would be happy with my Buck.
  8. Mav, nice knife! I like the handle a lot better than what is on the Eskabar. Looks like it would have much better grip. However, I have an Eskabar on order because of the price......maybe someday I can be in your league. I'm going to have it on my backpack, for camping, hunting, and bugging out.
  9. Nice work! I'm trying to get my first this season. Heading out tomorrow, although conditions are not the best. You never know!
  10. I also carry a Glock 27. I have tried other holsters in the past, but my Comp-Tac Minotaur is the best. It is leather backed with a kydex holster to keep its shape for re-holstering the gun. I paired it with a nice kydex reinforced belt and I barely know it's there.
  11. I am currently reading "Bug Out" by Scott Williams. Just started, so I can't tell you if it's any good, but it has gotten some good reviews.
  12. Hello TGO! My name is Neil, I live in Nashville. I grew up around the world as an Army Brat. My family is originally from Kingsport. I am an avid outdoorsman. Love fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors. I also love guns and own too many. My current favorite is my Glock 27, but I also spend the most time with her, although my new DPMS 5.56 is competing for that spot. I am interested in becoming a better shooter and maybe (one day) competing locally. I look forward to learning from all the experienced shooters on TGO and also reading some good Forums. Thanks
